The ‘coat’ to me looks like something you’d put on over your regular clothes while you’re doing the cleaning at home. It just needs a couple of large pockets for your dusters and cleaning spray.

Fergie DOES have that overstuffed sausage effect. I think she wants to look slimmer than she is, but she is not achieving that. Sadly, very true. But, at least Fergie has an excuse. First, she was young and always being compared with Diana, very difficult. Now she is old and and a Cancer Survivor. MeMe on “Suits” had a dresser and apparently failed to learn anything from them.

I have never seen one person look so bad in so many outfits. Most which we were told are very expensive. That takes like a talent to a whole new level.

That jumbo cotton plant coat and flats looked like a housecoat, and not the kind for entertaining. All that was missing was the quilt pattern, which I can easily imagine. But the humongous cotton plants, 4 of them... yuck. Aside from IMO, ugly, isn't it the elephant in the room?

At least she is dressing for her advanced age for a change. Retirement home lounging suit.

FWIW- I like the coat a lot. But the coat is much shorter on the model- falling slightly below the crotch. In contrast, on MM it falls slightly above the knee. So the proportions are completely different. Due to the design, it can’t be shortened at all.

I agree. The coat almost looks like an art smock, and with the wide pants, she thought she was going for an art history professor a la Julia Roberts from Mona Lisa Smile vibe. The pants and the hair are overwhelming.

Markle is VERY short and tries to dress like a tall girl. It fails every time. She hardly comes past Hazbeen shoulder and needs to learn to go with that. She still goes on about being a super model or having endless legs but we all know that is total denial of her tiny stature.

I'm 80 and wouldn't touch that outfit with a bargepole. The placement of the pretty embroidery is peculiar - too far apart, leaving plain black right across the mid section. It looks more suited to being cushion covers E❤

Yes and the white flowers? were perfectly aligned which didn't look right to me - it would have looked better if they were randomly placed.

She dresses to show how much money she spends on her wardrobe not to look good!

For the tiered coat, I would've chosen cigarette pants in WHITE to add visual weight to her spindly legs. They would've complemented the embroidered flowers and made the outfit look more appropriate for a daytime spring event. As she styled it, it was too shapeless and gloomy.

I like your idea, the white pants would also make the short sleeves look so much more appropriate and fun. Also, Beebs idea of putting her hair way up to the crown of her head in a messy bun would’ve been great. I can’t believe that I just used the word crown and Megsy’s head in the same sentence! For her height, the coat was too long should have been above the knee. Like you said, pencil pants and a shoe with a heel. She is not tall and the coat looks overwhelming on her slim figure. Not a balanced look at all, which in turn makes the look frumpy.

If you want to criticize her character, what she has and hasn’t done, power on. But looks should be off limits because looks aren’t something we can control, even cosmetic surgery won’t correct everything and may make it worse. I don’t like MM, but please don’t insult her looks as you wouldn’t want someone insulting you, I know I wouldn’t.
