Our critically acclaimed and best-selling Fairfax has gone electric. The all-new Fairfax E brings the power to scoot you along with 40Nm of torque from the rear hub, quietly and seamlessly adding a boost to your pedaling. The 340Wh battery is cleanly integrated into the Series 2 aluminum frame's downtube, while a Shimano 8-speed Altus drivetrain provides plenty of gearing range. Finally, hydraulic disc brakes from Tektro allow for controlled and comfortable stopping power in all conditions.

Hi Brandon - while the battery is removable, it's designed for more of a semi-permanent install. If you need a city bike with a quickly-removable battery, check out our Sausalito or Stinson E models.

@@brandwilbll Granted nothing is 100% theft-proof, but removing the battery is not something easily done on the street. We'd say the battery would be fine when locked up in low theft areas.

if it costs less than 2000 euros, what I would consider a fair price. ;) i will buy one for my lovley wife. right now she comute with my . . . jesus i have to lie. nearly 30 years old indian fire trail. which is in great shape. but compared to my both San Quentins and my new Alpine Trail xr, it's already getting a bit old and should now slowly get its place of honor in the living room on the wall. greetigs from germany and do me a favor stay awesome!
