Hello Rodel Ferrer Let me clear, God (Allah) does not ask Muslims to send their son to die for them. As a Christian myself (Probably half a christian now) and having studied the Quran for several months, even I have read about this one. I would recommend you research on this one further. Let me ask you a few questions and I hope you who seem to be a strong Christian who has so much love for Jesus and the Bible can help me clear my confusion as a Christian. If not, others are welcome to answer. If you came across danger, as a father would you send your son forward or would you protect him and move forward yourself? God is almighty and powerful. Why would he need to throw his son in danger? Why didn't he come forward. OK OK, God did come himself, because Jesus was God, right? So did God send his son or did God die, because Jesus was God? Right? So Jesus who was God died for our sins. So God didn't send down his son as God came himself in the form of man? So God actually died for our sins? The creator of humans had to die for our sins. Or was it the son of God who died for our sins and not God?? So was Jesus God or the Son of God? Or was he both, the son of God and God himself? So who died, did the son die, or did God come down as Jesus and die for our sins? So did Jesus die or did God die or did both die? Yeh, it gets confusing. Lets go down a level and make it a little simpler Is Jesus God? Is Jesus the Son Of God? Is Jesus the Holy Spirit? So is God all of the above, three in one? Was Mary the mother of Jesus? Is Jesus God? So Mary was the Mother of God? So Mary is a bigger God? Is Mary the daughter of God, because we are all sons and daughters of God? How can Mary be the Mother and Daughter of God? Is Jesus God? Did Jesus die for our sins? How long did Jesus lay in his grave after he died on the cross? Who ran the world whilst Jesus (God) was in his Grave? Jesus had a miraculous birth, YES. I agree. Should he therefore be a son of God? Should Adam be a bigger God as he had no father or mother? Jesus died on the cross? Yes according to Christians. But before Jesus was taken away to be crucified he said: “Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.” (Matthew 26:38) and Jesus prayed to God according to (Matthew 26:39) “And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.” It seems from the above verse that Jesus had no intention of dying. Matthew mentions Jesus repeating this prayer three times so he could have this death removed from him. If Jesus had been sent to be crucified and die for our sins, he would not have hesitated to be killed but instead he prayed to God. OK, you might say: this hesitation came from the flesh side of Jesus, he was tempted and his soul which is Godly did not have this hesitation at all. YES?? But God came down in the form of man, so Jesus knew he was God? Or did he not know he was God? But in (Matthew 26:38) Jesus states in his own words, “My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death.” So what happened after Jesus prayed to God? According to (Hebrews 5:7) God replied to the prayer with “Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death, and was heard in that he feared.” God granted him his request. The words “heard in that he feared” mean that God granted Jesus what he requested in his prayer. So the above verse shows when Jesus prayed, God responded to his prayer and saved him from crucifixion. Were Jesus and God one? “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.”(John 20:17) “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?”(Matthew 27:46) “Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I” (John 14:28) There are many more such verses where Jesus calls upon God What about the below verse? My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father’s hand. (John 10:29) The response you will probably give is: Jesus was talking as a man here, and because he is a man the Father is greater than him. The Father meant he is greater than Jesus in rank and authority and not in essence. But, what did Jesus mean in (John 10:29) when Jesus mentioned the Father is greater than All? Why did Jesus place himself in the category of all people. Also, can you prove that Jesus had two natures, is there a quote from Jesus mentioning that he is God or to worship him, or where he has mentioned that he has two natures and he gave one of the natures up and took on the nature of man? You will probably quote the below verse to prove God and Jesus were on: “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30) But (John 20:17) states “Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.” Within the above verse, Jesus mentions that there is a distinction between him and God. So basically, Jesus had a God. “I and my Father are one.” (John 10:30) could also relate to the message from God and the message from Jesus being one. Another verse from (Matthew 27:46) mentions: “And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? That is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?” The above verse mentions that Jesus cried calling for his God. So if Jesus knew he was God, who was he crying to? ok, he was crying to God, right? So did Jesus not know he was God? or did he? If he was God, who was he praying to? Was he praying to his father who is God? Or was Jesus (God) praying to himself? and then granting his own prayers? From the above it shows that there are two different ways Jesus relates himself to God. The first one is Jesus and God are one and the other Jesus refers to a higher authority than himself which is God. Now lets assume that both are correct, then there is a contradiction. If Jesus was God, would it be more appropriate for Jesus to say “and to myself, and your God.” and “Myself, Myself, why hast thou forsaken me?”. Now, if one of them is wrong and the other is correct then we need to discard the one we believe to be incorrect. We know God does not make mistakes, so is the current Bible the word of God? (John 5:30) mentions: “I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me.” If Jesus and God were the same then Jesus would not have said what he said in the above verse. Could you please help me with the above and reply. Take your time. I have questioned many and never had a clear answer.

+Chris Greenwood Jesus was sent by God and came on the Authority of God therefore He is to be received as such. Jesus is the Son of God. Jesus told His followers that they can call God 'Father'. The call is to be Children of God and to do what Jesus taught in the Gospels. We as Jesus followers are Children of God. People try to discredit the Gospels because they do not want to obey God's Word. Jesus is the Word of God and His Teaching are from God. 'Love God with all your heart, mind, soul and strength and love your neighbor as yourself'. Jesus came from Heaven and went back to Heaven. He is all about Heaven and God's Kingdom not an earthly religion. Also, we should pray to God in Heaven. God does not live on one place in this earth. Why pray in a direction? Jesus said "LOOK UP!" God is in Heaven and Jesus is at God's Right Hand. You want to convert people to pray towards a black rock, stuck to a box in the middle of the desert? The Gospels are the Words of Life...That is who Jesus is. If you do not believe that Jesus is the Son of God sent here to give His Holy and Righteous flesh for the life of the world; then you should at least obey His teachings such as the sermon on the mount. Because Jesus said He is the One who is appointed by God to Judge based upon the words that He already Spoke. and they were not His words but God's If you say that Jesus is a Prophet, then should you not obey His Words? A Prophet speaks God's Word. Jesus is ONE with His Father God in perfect agreement and harmony...Jesus obeys His Father's Words...He is The Living Word of God.

Jesus is not God, i dont see the best translation of the bible teaching this. Because of sin, it is said our creator set forth a covenant with man where animal blood is to be spilled for sins, Jesus was a man. Our Creator through his Holy Spirit had mary become pregnant. Jesus lived a sinless life and passed all tests set before him. His blood was pure, our creator honored the covenant he had set with man and had Jesus to be the final sacrifice out of love for all man. Jesus knew about his crucifixion before hand and being a human being felt fear before his death. The quran is not very loving, of course the old testament is not very loving but Christianity is leeps and bounds more loving than the quran.

In the end, it doesn’t matter how nice or moral a person is because there is not enough niceness or morality to pay for our rejection of God. Either we must be rejected or we turn to Jesus who was rejected for us. This is the core message of the gospels. Jesus lays down his very own life for those who reject him, for his enemies, for those who don’t believe in him, and he offers them forgiveness.

    An accurate list of David's wives would include at least 4 named wives: 1) Michal (1 Sam 18:27, 19:11-18, 25:44; 2 Sam 3:13-14, 6:20-23), 2) Abigail of Carmel (1 Sam 25:39, 1 Chr 3), 3) Ahinoam of Jezreel (1 Sam 25:43, 1 Chr 3), 4) Eglah (2 Sam 3:4-5, 1 Chr 3), and 5) Bathsheba (2 Sam 12:24). David also took "more wives and concubines" in 2 Sam 5:13, 12:7-8, 1 Chr 14:3, bringing the total women to a minimum of 5 + 2+ additional wives + 2+ additional concubines = 9+ women.

Three additional women are mentioned, but we are not told if they are wives or concubines: 1) Maacah (2 Sam 3:3, 1 Chr 3), 2) Abital (2 Sam 3:3-4, 1 Chr 3), and 3) Haggith (2 Sam 3:3, 1 Chr 3). The new total is 12+ women for King David. And lastly, there are the 10 concubines, or "wives" as they are also referred to as, in 2 Sam 5:13, 15:16, 16:21-23, 1 Chr 14:3), bringing David's total women to at least 22+ "wives/concubines".

@@faithfultheology I respect you too because my holy book calls you people of book. Jesus is not the only son according to bible: Adam, which was the son of God. Jeremiah 31:9 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion. I will declare the decree: the LORD hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee. God in His sovereignty chose to reveal Himself to us through His Word - His Word, who became one of us and lived among us. In comparing Jesus Christ with the prophet Adam, the Bible tells us, “The first man was of the dust of the earth, the second man from heaven.” (1 Corinthians 15:47)

I found the answers to my questions in Bible. What is the meaning of creation? Every muslim that I asked says we are created to worship God. But Christianity says that we are created to be with God in heaven, but through sin were short of the glory of God. Peace and joy that one gains through Jesus can be found in no one else.

So God is One, and part of that oneness is His Word, which comes out from Him and communicates Himself to us. In Arabic Jesus is called, “Kalamat Ullah,” the Word of God. I truly agree with you. We need to understand God's characteristics in the old and in the new testament. It is impossible for us to confront the Father and ask The Father for forgiveness because we ourselves have failed to keep Father's commandments. We will also die if we see the Father. That is why we pray unto Jesus because He defeated Satan on the Cross for our sins. He took our sins away as we confessed and repented from our sins with genuine hearts.

How do I find God? This is perhaps the most wonderful question one could possibly ask. Jesus said that finding God "can be likened to a "Fine Pearl" which a man found, then went and sold all he had to buy (Matt 13:46). Jesus already knows you, and knows your every thought and desire. According to scripture, He is the one who placed the desire in your heart to find Him. Trusting in Jesus is living your life with hope!

It's even simpler to understand if you realize where they got the word "gospel" from, which means "good news", and understanding where they cited it from. It's from Isaiah 52:7, where it plainly says that the good news is that God will reign. The messiah has always been the ruler for God, and at the end, Jesus will hand over the kingdom to God. Then the kingdom of God will be fully realized, when the tares are burned up, and the wheat is with God Himself.

Therefore if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsts, give him drink: for in so doing you shall heap coals of fire on his head. Be not overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. We must individually receive Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord; then we can know and experience God's love and plan for our lives.

Very good question, my fellow being. If you were to decipher the Bible searching 'only' for Jesus's statements and not someone elses, or to put it simple, seek out the 1st person statements of Jesus and not 2nd person or 3rd person, for many a people have claimed for Jesus what he did not claim for himself nor what he claimed for God. After you find Jesus's 1st person statements then 'compare' them to each other, from the first Gospel to the latter. Hopefully you shall see the discrepancies.

Likewise, Christ will return to Earth as the “Son of Man” in clouds of glory to reign on Earth (Matthew 26:63-64). In this passage, Jesus is citing Daniel 7:13 where the Messiah is described as the "Ancient of Days," a phrase used to indicate His deity (cf. Daniel 7:9).

If this gospel is not from Jesus Christ who else then gave the disciples the authority to preach this message to the whole wide world.

Scripture indicates that Jesus was not denying His deity by referring to Himself as the Son of Man. In fact, it is highly revealing that the term “Son of Man” is used in Scripture in contexts of Christ's deity. For example, the Bible says that only God can forgive sins (Isaiah 43:25; Mark 2:7). But as the “Son of Man,” Jesus had the power to forgive sins (Mark 2:10).

The law of God has made clear that sin rquires sacrifice. Read the law of Moses for yourself. Study it rather than trusting a book that came thousands of years AFTER the law. Leviticus 17:11 tells you that God has given you the blood to make atonement for your sins. That is the requirement of the law and as Hebrews 9:22 tells you, there is no forgiveness without the blood. So, do you sacrifice for your sins as the law of God requires or do you not?

MARY in ISLAM is a great figure. She is the only lady mentioned by name in Qur’an. A chapter (no. 19) is named after Mary. Qur’an tells about her birth when her mother was upset when she knew it was a girl but God said she will not be an ordinary child. Qur’an also tells her childhood, how righteous she was, how she conceived Jesus without a father and gave birth to Jesus. No manger, no Joseph, she was alone. Nobody can hold tears if s/he reads those wonderful passages from Qur’an.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is from God; and everyone who loves is born of God and knows God. The one who does not love does not know God, for God is love. By this the love of God was manifested in us that God has sent His only begotten Son into the world so that we might live through Him. In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another.

That's something to think about because they are the only Christian group that are preaching the Good News of the kingdom on a worldwide scale. That would mean that they are fulfilling the Prophecy at Matthew 24: 14. as well as the command Jesus gave at (Matthew 28:19-20) and since Jesus said he wouldl be with his disciples until the end they must be the true Christian!

I turn to Jesus trial, as recorded by Mark (14:60-64). She read the record of Jesus’ cross-examination: Again the high priest asked him, “Are you the Messiah, the Son of the Blessed One?” “I am,” said Jesus. “And you will see the Son of Man sitting at the right hand of the Mighty One and coming on the clouds of heaven.” The high priest tore his clothes. “Why do we need more witnesses?” he asked. “You have heard the blasphemy. What do you think?” They all condemned him as worthy of death. (63-64)

According to Jewish law, tribal identification comes from the father's side, being Jewish, from the mother's side. According to Matthew 1, Joseph was descended from David (Although there are many contradictions between his genealogy there and that listed in Luke, however according to the same text, Joseph did not have sexual relations with Mary, therefore Jesus was not related to Joseph, and not a descendant of King David. Three answers to this problem are given in classic Christian sources: The genealogy is that of Mary - This is inadequate, since if he is claimed to be the Jewish messiah, and according to Jewish tradition he must be descended on his father's side, Mary's genealogy is irrelevant. He was adopted by Joseph -According to Jewish law, adoption does not change the status of the child. If an Israelite is adopted by a Cohen, (A descendant of Aaron the High Priest), the child does not become a Cohen, likewise if a descendant of David, adopts someone who is not, he does not become of the tribe of Judah and a descendant of David. It doesn't matter, he was a spiritual inheritor of King David - If it doesn't matter, why do Christian scriptures spend time establishing his genealogical pedigree? And if he is claimed to be the Jewish messiah, then according to Jewish tradition it does matter!

There are good reasons to believe that the Bible is divinely inspired. Evidences include fulfilled prophecies, the remarkable coherence of the text despite its myriad authors and stories and time frames. The Bible's accuracy has been substantiated greatly by modern archaelogy and classical historical studies. The Bible contains no proven factual errors or contradictions unlike others and is attested to as God's Word by Jesus Christ, the prophesized Messiah.
