Five Star Car Stereo Great video guys as always,love this channel. i wonder if you could help me choose a single din, I'm based in London England and i have just fabricated an iPad mini4 dash kit in my car. could you please advise me on what the best single din radio is with all the latest features. Sony MEX-XB100BT 4x100 Watts NFC Bluetooth Car Stereo Radio USB AUX iPod iPhone is packed with features but i thought ill ask the professionals if there is something better out there now What do you think of sony stereos as comparison to the pioneer ones as i am aware that pioneer is big in the game thank you

I'd love to see a mechless unit pack more amplification with all of the extra room it offers. a true 50w RMS x 4 would be pretty epic in a single din head unit

What do you mean it has better Bluetooth? I believe they use both the same chipset

I've only had one problem with the MVH series headunits. My SMD DD1 won't tune thoses radios for some reason. Since there is not a CD player you have to download the tracks on a USB stick. I've tried a 2GB,8gb,32gb,64gb USB drive all from different manufacturers none of them worked. Just a message on the screen "check USB" I've worked on all the pioneer MVH series headunits none of them worked. Any help on this issue.

Five Star Car Stereo I just found out why my flash drives were not reading. The bit rate was too high. I change it from 320Kbps to 256kbps. I'm not sure why that worked because pioneers tech support and the manual says it can read 320Kbps. But i guess it has issues with it. Even though a song ("yellow gold by E40")at 320Kbps it read just fine but with test tones something's up. Hope this help people with non CD player radios. And tuning with the DD1.

Hello again! its me haha, can you guys make a video on how to set each channel (lets say a 4 channel amp for door speakers) to the same point of gain and crossover points without using a oscilloscope. maybe an app or a multi-meter technique . just want to make sure all of the speakers are somewhat equal, as apposed to the little circle dial on the side. Am I just over thinking this? haha if I am, be honest and please let me know. You guys have been so much help, but im learning a lot from your videos, please keep them coming " 5 days a week."

Taylor thank you and yes you are over thinking it a little. Your best tool at the end of the day is your ear. It will not lie to you, when it sounds bad it will let you know. With that being said, yes a video on that topic is a great idea.

Boa Phan no, you have to use the Pioneer mic. Sometimes you can mount the Pioneer mic in the factory location with a little creativity.

Gerardo Prieto oh I did not think you were complaining, actually I was complaining because we were asked to take down one of our videos. We are just trying to keep up the pace of 5 a week and that set me back one.

Never again, the Pioneer warranty program is absolutely terrible. You will pay half the price of the receiver in insured shipping to a 3rd party repair center. Not only that, Pioneer accepts no responsibility if something goes wrong. This is the first time Ive had a stereo just completely die within the year warranty and I still lost the money.

If I didn't care about having nav and keeping the diagnostic capabilities in my camry I'd definitely go with the single din over the double.. The only problem is I'm not sure which of the nex lineup is equal to what I have.

Shaun Jay more then likely you will want the 4200 ( no navigation) or the 8200 ( navigation) with the iDatalink maestro.

Hmmm...may have to replace my UTE 52BT's with the 580's. Although I love Alpine..the pioneers have the network mode and time alignment they're lacking.

It would have been nice to see these features instead of having to look at these two guys for over 7 minutes.
