You should do versus videos in Deadside. For example AK-SU vs AK-SM, compare recoil, accuracy, damage, cost, handling and then list the strengths of each guns. I think this would be interesting

That is a damn good idea, it's basically what I did in this video now that I think about it, I have another video planed for later this week but after that I think I might give that a shot. agree 100% about UMR, my fav weapon. Not crying after dying with it

yeah I think it should do 35 damage vs armor like it does vs helmets, it does not make sense for something as slow and fat as a 45acp round to get through heavy gost 6 armor with ease, that stuff is made to resist armor penetrating full power rifle rounds, and should stop pistol caliber stuff like nothing

Could be cool after the next round of spec ops crate treats to have a new world-spawn semi-auto long gun like SKS or Mini-14.

My endgame load out has always been P900 and M99. Server domination every time.

I find I am getting more rounds on target with the AKSU than the M4 or AKM. The only upside I'm seeing with those two is the ability to mount optics. Love the data btw.

Thanks! It must the the different handling, because the aksu and akm have extremely similar recoil patterns. Once you get used to it I'm sure you will prefer those

I prefer the MG-36, I've been using it for a while and the 100 round magazine, somewhat-breif reload, and while the handling isn't great, using it semi-auto is a great way to use it. I've wiped squads with it and the fire rate is incredible for CQB, and melts just about anything. Personally my favorite weapon

I think the Rpk is by far the best weapon in the game for a number of reasons 1: The damage it deals is quite high (40 base makin it a 3 shot against targets without armor and 24 against targets wearin a heavy assault vest so a 5 shot for fully geared players) 2: It uses a very common ammotype and it holds more ammo than the other ak family weapons 3: You can slap a pos scope on top of it (since you have to lead your shot just as far at 100m as on 400m you will always hit a target running across your screen if you aim somewhere between the 4th and 5th line from the center if i remember correctly) 4: Almost every helicrash will spawn a scav usin one of them so it can be replaced easily if you died while pvpin or if your character dies in a spot where you cant recover it 5: If you go for the bunker and you find 4 expensive primary weapons it wont hurt too much to drop it in the dirt

My dear Loaf: First, just let me thank you for your time and expert analysis. Among all the creators focusing on Deadside, you are head and shoulders above the rest, in my humble opinion. And now for a question (you did see it coming, didn't you? :-) Could you elaborate a bit on the "tactical reload"? I come from Tarkov, and there it means dropping the mag on the ground, rather than returning it to your rig. There is even a key-bind designed for this. There is no such option on Deadside. I am a bit confused...

Its not nearly as complicated as Tarkov, what I mean by tactical reload is simply just a reload while there is still a bullet in the chamber, making it faster because you don't have to manually cycle the weapon, maybe tactical reload isnt the correct word for that, but I didn't know what else to call it lol. as far as the m99 goes, since a shot to the hand or foot would most likely remove it from their body irl, it being "OP" is perfectly fine by me, but because of that it should be nearly impossible to obtain, i dont find it convenient to only be able to stack 10 rounds though or be able to sell the ammo. the VSD would be my choice in pvp or pve

My favourite combo is the VSD and UMR45. The UMR is highly underrated imo pretty much drops anyone with two shots and hardly any recoil

been playing with the P90 a lot for CQB. By far the best for me. You can easily mow down a group of 7+ military units in a room.

Vsd, close quarters combat is hard but if you can use it well, it hits like a truck. Sniping, amazing. I'd give it the title seeing as how servers ban it haha

yeah I see servers banning it and I find it pretty dumb lol. The VSD is good because it can fill a lot of roles very well, not because its the best in those roles. I feel like there are very few situations where an outcome of a fight or mission would be changed by removing the VSD from the game, because people will just take a different weapon that fills the same role.

Sadly no, the community managers say that the dev team is shooting for a working public test build this month, but they have been saying that since February, so I think we just have to be patient

Is there damage range difference between P90 and AR4?

The P90 does 35 damage, and the AR4 does 40, over range the AR4 is probably more effective because most submachine guns become very inaccurate past ~250M. As far as damage drop off goes tho,.I have observed none on any gun except for shotguns. But as far as the overall damage output goes, even though the P90 does less damage, the rate of fire makes up for it, so they are about the same

Is this information still relevant/accurate in 2024?

SO is this game PVE only, or is it like RUst with PVP? Or can it be played 100% PVE/coop?

@@aruruero Can one just make thier own server and just play coop with like 1 or 2 others? Does it cost money to rent, or is it like 7dtd where you just make a game and go? So far what ive seen of the game, it seems kinda cool....though ive still got my doubts as ive played a couple of more realistic hardcore games and wind up not liking it after I play it for awhile, despite first impressions from videos.

@@CMDRFandragon to be honest i never try own server, but i think you need to pay. but playing PVE mode in Official server is really really good ! Epic missions is just so Hard to finish ! they shot from so far and amazing Precision !

Is there actually only one well populated FPP server in europe? And this server is the official server. I would really like to see a non official FPP server with a quite good amount of players.

couldn't tell you about EU servers since I only play on southern NA servers, but I know that generally as of now there are very few private servers at all that are populated, let alone FPP servers. Just wait until the update comes around, I'm sure your local private servers will start getting traffic again, I'm in the same boat, since none of the servers I enjoy to PvP on are populated atm.

A admin I played with told me I was the best he's seen from a far distance with the svd and getting headshots he asked how I did it and I said controlled luck I barely use the breath feature I do but never with the first or second shot and there is bullet drop in this game

The map is actually based of a real life area called Heim in Norway, although the permanent structures like the bunker and military bases are very russian, so I'm not really sure whats up with the setting, maybe it has to do with the game lore. (if there is any) The money itself looks a lot like a 2000 rouble note, but they use the USD symbol in game, and then they just call it money. My guess is that they are trying to be non-specific on purpose, so it doesn't really matter what you call it

If the developers don't do anything by the end of the year by that I mean seriously do their best and don't give us some crumbs and some little silly updates this game is going to DIE because this doesn't make sense....,,,, so they have to insert serious things and improve the whole game because the players are tired of all this and it became unbearable .... first they have to expand the map, insert vehicles, add attachments to rifles such as silencers, grips, extended mags, etc and that each rifle can have a minimum of 4 to 5 attachments and not as it is now limited to only two it's total nonsense ... I could write like this indefinitely, it lacks a lot but for a start this would be mandatory otherwise let them say goodbye to a game that is already slowly dying

Nerf M99 too powerful? No it’s not...this rifle is insane firepower rifle in real life. In game it doesn’t seems that powerful to be honest. Those bullets penetrate brick walls like butter and will rip apart any humanbeen even with armor. No need to nerf this gun in game
