More important than the camera body is the quality of the glass you can put on the front, as long as the camera functions properly, it is the lens that makes or breaks a good photo.

Just got a Nikon N75, it's a little more modern, autofocus, has metering and exposure comp, auto film winding, but I wanted to get something I could use and not get any direct feedback on and still use the lens I have with my other Nikon. Still might get something more manual in the near future.

OMG, I grew up with my dad's 4x5 Berkie & James press camera that came in a huge case my dad had a darkroom in the basement. He taught me how to develop black n white negatives and prints. Here is the list of cameras I have used: Fujica ST 801 (birthday & Christmas present from Mom and Dad. MY camera list: Fujica st801, Canon ae1, ae1p, a1 my favorite camera. When I got to High school I was brought my 110 pocket camera then the next day I brought the prints in. At the end of the 9th grade, I started working on the school Newspaper (The Spotlight). We used a Minolta srt 101, That camera was a workhorse. In my 10 grade year, I became the photography editor by then a handful of my photos won awards from newspaper day !!! Then two of my photos won prizes from a large department store 3rd place and place award. One of my photos went to new york and won a gold key award. Thats my story :) I have my mind stuck on Asa 400, yes I know its iso now. That is the speed that I shot at.

I have so many negatives I have to scan but I think I found a solution to scan them all. I think its called the pixelator or something close to that. It is made out of thick plastic. I think Im going to purchase the R7. I'm researching a macro lens. So many choices.

My choice changes by the week but right now I will go with my Canon Sure Shot 105 Zoom. It has a decent lens, has automatic lens cover, and fits in my front pocket. Great travel camera and just a quick grab and shoot when I don't need a super wide angle or super tele lens. It cost me $15. If there's something special I need to shoot, I go with my Hasselblad 500cm.

My camera of choice is the canon A-1. I don’t know why. I have other cameras (Olympus I’m-10, Nikon f3, Minolta x-700, a few point and shoots etc) but non get me excited to shoot like the canon A-1. It’s even above my Nikon F3! However I finally got my hands on some 110 film so I want to try out the super small Pentax auto 110. It looks like a toy! So yeah those are my current picks.

RB67 and a Nikon F5. Heavier the camera the better. Haha Everything is a lot slower with the RB and the F5 helps me speed up and shoot fast with out thinking too much. Thanks for a great video!

In LA, the Nikon F2 is the best camera plus it’s a self defense weapon for all the vermin infecting the city.

@@film_friends I don’t use the F as much mostly because the meter is dead on the prism I have. The F2 does feel a bit heavier and very solid. Probably because of the better closing back and the firmer fitting prism. I’m sure either one will last several life times. My second favorite camera is the Nikon F3 HP, better since I wear glasses.
