Yo Devvon! Can you do a video tutorial for the Weeknd’s vocal on Too Late from his latest album? There’s a double on his lead vocal that sounds like a flute-synth-like effect that makes his voice sound super crisp and pure. It can be especially heard at 2:16 - 2:46. Any ideas on what they might have used to get that effect? I have never heard anything like it, it’s heavenly.

Great advice Devvon! At the same time tho, I released a song on Monday and it still got on the Radar on Friday! The song did better than my previous releases. Also, you gotta consider that if you're an unknown artist, a lotta people are going to listen to bigger releases before considering your track. That's just my two cents tho!

Lenny Crumb here’s the thing when you first drop a song don’t you want it to have maximum exposure when it FIRST DROPS as oppose to coming out Tuesday then hitting release radar Friday

@@HelpMeDevvon I truly agree with you but Friday is getting too saturated. Migos, Jhené Aiko and Khalid have all dropped singles during Monday/Wednesday. I've seen Fridays with 3-4 major artists dropping albums and fighting for attention, while lesser known ones are re-discovering weekdays. I don't know, again, it's just my take. Anyways I love your videos and your music, thanks for inspiring me

what time on a friday is best? like friday 00:01 or at 5 PM? do playlists get refreshed at 00:00 or when else? if i release at friday 5PM does it still get on playlists or is it too late

makes no sense to me because friday is more than oversaturated with major acts plus, most of us can´t choose the exaxt date when it´s gonna be published on Spotify so it´s kinda random if it´s out there on friday or nah

​@@moutderire5658 Hi. kzread.info/dash/bejne/lH11l5uDntCdptI.html This video explains some of the differences between Mono Audio and Stereo Audio. Mono plugins only use Mono Audio. Stereo plugins use Stereo Audio. By using Mono Audio plugins on mono audio signals (say, a loop you have that's on mono), you may save CPU. By using Stereo Audio plugins, you can 1) Affect a mono signal in a way that may make it stereo, or 2) Affect the left and the right channel of a stereo signal you have (say, a loop that's in stereo). The reason your sounds are changing drastically when you insert a mono plugin is probably because you're adding a mono plugin to a stereo signal, summing up the signal with two channels (left and right) to just one mono signal.

Gabe Williams I ain’t know that.. I have the upgraded plan for 2 artist so maybe that’s why they don’t charge me 🤷🏽‍♂️

I don’t see how this would apply to a newer artist

I use distrokid and even if I want to release my music on Friday It wont work cause it takes time to release it to all the platforms

That’s why you have to upload your song at least 1-2 weeks out so it can come out when you want
