    two years later and I still also want this video. it'd be impossible to calculate most likely the worth of a credit, everything that can be considered valuable in our world is either in abundance or non existent in the SW galaxy. for example, if you were to buy a type of metal, e.g Steel, in our world It has a certain value, because of its functionality. In the SW galaxy, it could either be worth more or less based on its value. plus, if credits are a universal currency, then prices for things will vary from place to place, so there couldn't be a single determinable value of a credit

The Anti Force is the opposite of the Force, which means instead of being a life energy that bind the universe and every being together, it is a negative energy field that destroys everything and everyone it comes into contact with it. If a person had the Anti Force, then they would either want to use it to eradicate everything in existence, or remake the universe in their image. Someone like Darth Nihlus might want to harness it.

    According to the cancelled novella that Eck referenced (Supernatural Encounters of the Star Wars Universe), yes. Mnggal Mnggal was the offspring of Tiltony and Cold Danda Sine. Mnggal Mnggal was born in Otherspace, but hid in the Unknown Regions to avoid being found and destroyed by the Celestials.

    @Wolf Alpha 900 It's...a little confusing. I'll try making it short. OK: The Bedlam Spirits were created by the Celestial named Wutzek, who in his hubris created them thinking it was a good idea for helping to govern the universe, but he didn't inform his fellow Celestials about it. Once this was discovered and discussed with the other Celestials, Wutzek regretted his decision, fearing that the Bedlam Spirits were too dangerous to be left to their own devices, and decided to destroy the spirits. The Bedlam Spirits discovered Wutzek's intentions, and fled before he could get them. The spirits fled by crossing the boundaries of space time, and accidentally ended up in the future at the time of the OT. This is when they encounter Leia and the stormtroopers. The spirits where unaware that they traveled forward in time, and wondered if they had created a new universe. This is why they treat Leia and the stormtroopers like playthings, since they believe they created them. After the events with Leia, the spirits crossed boundaries back towards their own time and decided to separate. However, Wutzek created them intending for the spirits to remain together (the 4 spirits needed each other to balance each other out.) Since they were no longer balanced, Tiltony and Cold Danda Sine became colder and corrupted. Tiltony now believed she was the Goddess of the universe, while Cold Danda Sine became heartless and nihilistic, trying to find joy in sadistic ways. Danda Sine made Otherspace into his own personal domain to do whatever he wanted, and to hide from the Celestials. Tiltony one day demanded Cold Danda Sine give her offspring, as she believed it would give her powerful children to command. Cold Danda Sine instead purposely made sure their offspring would be eldritch abominations to humiliate Tiltony. One of which was Mnggal Mnggal.

  • @MobiusLeader007

    @MobiusLeader007

    5 жыл бұрын

    @Wolf Alpha 900 It's been a while since I read the novella. I don't remember if Otherspace always existed alongside real space, or if the Spirits created it. Just that it's where Cold Danda Sine made his domain after returning. His now dark influence is what made Otherspace such a dangerous place. Yeah, the Spirits altered time with their trip, the future actually. It was only for that moment with Leia. Afterward they returned back to their time when the galaxy was young, and separated since they couldn't get along. Time travel and reality distortions always make things complicated.

    My theory is that since it was a flagship, it was probably command the rest of vaders squadron. All the command staff and equipment would be on it, so it makes sense to take another ship to ferry vader about, unless he wanted to leave the fleet without a command ship. I'd imagine he took an ISD 2 instead of a shuttle because he is just that important.

    My best bet is the Spartan/Covenant personal energy shield. Shield Belts in SW have limited power and Mass Effect shields are only good against kinetics. And Dune body shields detonate like a fuckin’ nuke and kill the wearer and the assailant if a las beam hits them. It gets the “metal as fuck” point though.

    I personally consider Supernatural Encounters of the Star Wars Universe to be canon to Legends. It answered a lot of questions regarding Star Wars (The Celestials, Wutzek, Mnggal Mnggal, Waru, Otherspace, the Bedlam Spirits, the Rozzum) and gave us a timeline of the earliest events of the Star Wars universe. I mean, the information of how Kam Solusar joined Luke after Dark Empire I, and the backstory of Sedriss QL came from a cancelled Legends work, but were considered part of Legends anyway.

    The ecological disaster on Honoghr was shown in one of the Clone Wars comics. There was a major space battle between Republic and CIS forces in the system, which ended in a Lucrehulk crashing on the planet's surface. The Lucrehulk was carrying Trihexalophine1138, a deadly CIS bioweapon, which dispersed into Honoghr's ecosystem and poisoned the planet.

    I really like the fact that Legends Star Wars wasn't afraid to take risks and try new things. Disney Star Wars just retreads safe ground in hopes of appeasing as many people as possible. Considering the fact that the people behind solo we're fired for taking risks just shows that Disney it's basically trying to make the Star Wars universe similar to the MCU. It's really disappointing to know that we'll never get what George Lucas envisioned for the Star Wars universe and what Disney does put out will be safe unambitious crap.

    In 2011 DC comics rebooted but left some of their continuity intact. Basicslly the reboot was supposed to be a full restart with some of the heroes just starting, the most well known heroes having been around for five years, and no one knowing other heroes. Green lantern and batman were selling incredibly well before the reboot so the continuity remained completely intact for GL and half intact for batman. The result was massive inconsistencies in what had and had not happened (like all four green lanterns being active when at least one of their backstories definitely didn't happen in the new continuity). Other inconsistent continuity elements exist across the board and elements still are a mess in more than a few places right years later. My point being that, unless Disney was very careful with what they left in and did a very thorough job keeping fans informed on what is and is not in continuity, it could wind up a complete mess. Frankly, I think the full reboot was for the best. I will also be incredibly disappointed and mad if they make Rey's parents someone important that we know. The twist that they were nobodys, just drunk assholes who literally sold their daughter for drinking money, worked great for both the movie and Rey's overall arc. It also serves as a great way to go say fuck it to the whole chosen hero of fate/destiny/genetic predeterminism/whatever. Seriously, fuck the whole genetics/lineage determining if you're a hero or not. That trope is bad and star wars is, frankly, one of the worst offenders.

    rattregoondoof, yeah but I don’t think they should completely ignore legends. The fans love when they hint at some legends concepts. I think if they did something bold such as rewriting some legends stories into canon the community would eat it up. For example making a comic about Anakin and Obi Wan fighting Durge.
