Sag is an essential and free upgrade you can perform on almost any motorcycle. This is a custom setup for you. There are a couple things to note about sag.
First, it is not a permanent setting. Setting sag gets you into the tight ballpark of where you need to be. Your riding style, terrain and conditions dictate if more or less sag is needed. More sag = control and less sag = stability
Next, If you stand on your pegs a majority of the time, you need to set your rider sag while standing on the pegs. Same goes if you mainly sit while riding.
Last, as a rule of thumb, rider sag should be about 1/3 or 30% of your suspensions total travel. 3" of travel = 1" of sag.
