Frontierer and Car Bomb are worth checking out
The Dillinger escape plan was my introduction to mathcore
I feel you missed a big point. Chascore existed as a precursor to mathcore before mathcore became a term. Coalesce and Botch were considered Chaoscore, Dillinger was the band that turned it into mathcore. Chaoscore also started with a band called Deadguy, who is massively important to the birth of mathcore, as it would likely not exist without them. I would definitely recommend looking into them. As for Chaoscore, you won't find anything more than traces of the subgenre as it was back then in forums scattered across the internet, but if you talk to anyone who was involved with the scene back then they'd probably be able to tell you all about it :P

This.. modern genre tag.. "thing" has been annoying for a while now, Dillinger, was no disrespect, New CONVERGE, for young kids, getting into the modern Hardcore scene, as it evolved etc etc,, COALESCE ORCHID BOTCH BREATHER RESIST, DAS OATH LOCUST,, on and on .. Cheers from Orange County California... @∅
Fugazi, Drive Like Jehu, The Jesus Liazrd, ALL required listeneing. I haven't listened to Dazzling Killmen for a while. I also enjoy the related, estranged beefheart-esque COLOSSAMITE!
a beautiful beautiful thing, eargasm, just something to smile to
Gaza, Suntouch House, Femur and Die Abete are also worth checking out

Where is Protest the Hero and The Fall of Troy?
Sweet Vid Brosky! Keep it up.
Just found your channel, Cheers from Southern California 🇺🇸 I appreciate your approach to sharing information... This (new tag) for bands i like.. as other modern genre tags have also, are annoying, unnecessary to be polite, especially with people who remember these Bands etc.. And Like them... Seen Dillinger plenty of times.. opening for CONVERGE, Locust, Das Oath, .. later Headline with bands like Breather Resist, Bleeding Kansas, Theses arm's are Snakes, Wolves, Transitor Transitor, .. My two cents on the floor,, The Music is all that matters... Maybe i just Hate (math) hahaha
Great video! I think it'd be fantastic to hear your take on where Propagandhi "fits".

Mathcore has to be my favorite genre of metal/hardcore. Converge, Botch, TDEP, Sawtooth grin, Jerome's dream, Coalesce, Rorschach, Deadguy. All absolutely fantastic bands.

My dad got tickets for him and I, but since I’m in Toronto, it’s up in the air if I’ll be able to go down. If not, I told him to go by himself

I hope you can make it, it is a once in a lifetime opportunity. I'm flying from Costa Rica all the way to NYC. The most difficult part has been finding a decently priced place to stay for a few days, but I already missed their final show, I cannot miss this one.
