Thanks for this kind words! And I’ve never heard this story! Makes sense why they named those apartments after Jackie Robinson’s number. That’s such a great story!

There is one more thing about Killeen that maybe you didn't know about, back in 1991 there was a massacre at Lubby's which is now a Chinese Buffet. I believe 23 people were killed that day.

The million-dollar question is: Can you buy a property with a VA loan without having been a VA? And the answer is probably no.

No but you can assume a VA loan as a civilian. There are also several zero down payment options. Rates are higher though so it’s a trade off

Great video, Stephen. I heard that Samsung is building a plant in Killeen. Do you know anything about that?

Thanks. Great question. It’s not Samsung but it’s Dongjin Semichem and they provide cleaning solution for the chips created at the Samsung plant.

Killeen is a terrible place , I lived there for 3 years. Harker Heights is way better and Belton is not bad . Killeen is all military if you’re not former military dont expect to get a job . I’m a chef and could not find a job , I ended up doing landscaping. Don’t go there .
