White Rock Estates and Spanish Oaks is the best and safest places to live in Killeen. With that said, there are other good neighborhoods, but I would say south Killeen has more shopping available. If you have to drive down Rancier Dr or Willow Springs drive to get to your house, than youre definitely in the wrong part of town. You mentioned race in Killeen... Killeen is every race intermixed. In Killeen, race means nothing, but character means everything.

I am new to Killeen and I just bought a house near Rancier and Rocky Lane. Should I be concerned as a single woman currently living in this area? I’ve been here in Killeen for 3 years from Miami. I love it here!!! I just want to announce that there’s going to be a Mother’s Day Jazz performance at Endeavor’s Cafe on May 12th @4 pm. There’s going to be celebrity musicians there! Who remembers the group Az Yet? Well, Shawn Rivera one of the lead singer formerly of AZ Yet is going to perform! I’m excited!

It's not exploding 😂. The only change is rent and home prices are total bs now. If your a civilian then good luck with a good paycheck unless your gonna work on base. I could go on but might as well move towards Austin as rents the same now but jobs pay 2x more

Oh or let's talk about no grocers on the north side because the city signed clause with grocery stores not to rent to another grocer for 50 years. Let's talk about a police station where there is no crime yet we have one of the highest murder rates. I love Killeen but let's be a bit more honest shall we?
