Wow!!!! The difference between the ways she told the apology story two different times is amazing! Great catch! This is why I love this channel, the amount of time you put in to watch not just one interview but all of them and catch such a big difference is amazing! Analyzing one interview is great but having that comparison to see her tell the same story two very different ways is gold! Question for you. Does this noticeable difference in tone and delivery mean that one or both of her stories are a lie? What can we deduce about the reality of what happened?

Thanks Thomas! Glad you enjoyed it. I was happy to put in that time to find a piece of gold like that 😊 Great question. It’s the thing that’s been bugging me the most since I saw the interviews. I’ve really been reflecting on it. The thing that is bothering me is IF he sincerely apologized to her and she felt his heart in that moment why didn’t she come out and say that much much much sooner? At the very least it could have cleared things up instead of leaving that tension up there. Why would she wait for him to decimate her on Netflix to bring this up? And not just her, Will has spoken about the event since then, why didn’t HE bring it up? Like “Jada told me that Chris came up to her immediately after…” Also. Why would Chris apologize to her sincerely and then go on Netflix and shred her to bits? He either feels bad for the joke or he doesn’t. That Netflix special didn’t sound like it was coming from someone who “meant you no harm” I would love for someone to ask Chris Rock if he went up to her and said that. I think there’s a possibility that he said something just to alleviate tension but I don’t know that it was this big heartfelt moment. Would love to get the viewers opinions on this. Do we think he sincerely and deeply apologized?, do we think he “tried to apologize” or did he not apologize at all? Please remember nobody has the answer (unless Chris Rock is watching) so let’s remain objective and respectful.

@@TheBehavioralArts I don't think he did go to her and apologize right afterward. And the reason I say that is because I don't think that he thought he done anything wrong. He didn't even know WHY Will slapped him at that time. But I loved his Joke. After all it is JUST a JOKE. And the whole alopecia thing is made up. Because if that were true, why wasn't that brought to the red table talk?

My son has alopecia. It showed itself around the age of 8 or 9. It is terrible for kids, and even as an adult, it poses issues (socially) for him. It is definitely an insecurity for those who have it. However... her hair is so even and thick, it makes me wonder. It doesnt grow evenly when you have alopecia. It is patchy, thin in spots, and eyelashes/brows do the same thing. Some people have it allover and, like my son, have patchy hair on their legs or arms. I question everything Hollywood/political. Personally.. I dont believe her. Scandal is all I see.

That sounds very judgmental!! Her hair is even bc she shaves her head completely bald. Her variation of Alecia is obviously different from your son's. I had (don't want it again!) Alopecia areata in 2021-22. I just had 2 spots. I am still recovering from it. The hair in those spots is thick but a little softer (I'm black). She has money, she will have access to treatments that we don't.

I have it. Mine is patchy and I’m very thankful that it doesn’t currently affect my head hair. My hair is just now growing back in spots that have been bald and highkeye thin for almost 12 years. My brows and eye lashes are patchy as all hell. I have a huge gap in my left eye brow and as of last week a small line of eye brow has started to grow back in the venter of the huge gap. I’m really excited about this, I have a stress related form of alopecia, as in it gets worse when I’m stressed. But my hair took 11 years to start coming back. My eyebrow has been disappearing for over 13 years, in the last two years it was at it worse. I had even started losing hair on my right brow which was never overly affected. But hair doesn’t grow back evenly with alopecia since it’s an auto immune disease, but one thing is for sure alopecia causes patches… not a single straight line on the scalp.

It was very interesting to me when she mentioned the alopecia and she said “my alopecia is not as extreme as most people who are dealing with THAT condition”. My question is, if she really has alopecia, wouldn’t she had said “THIS condition” instead of “THAT condition”? The wording to me sounded like she was putting some distance between herself and alopecia. To me, alopecia is alopecia whether you have an extreme case or not it is still alopecia. It makes me wonder if she really has that condition or she’s just using it to get attention. It’s just some food for thought.

The question you ask many times(about the differences in her responses) can easily be answered in the "intentions" of her heart. She wasn't, isn't married. But if you ask Will, (my guess) is he would say he is married. He acts like he is and he calls her his wife. Jada can't even remember she is married, for her it ended a long time ago. But the trouble with a narcissist is that they will torture you until someone does die and it HAS to end.😮 I sincerely hope that Will moves on and truly heals. This is sad to watch and my heart hurts for their family.😢

I think they haven't divorced because Will is so obsessed with keeping a cookie cutter image that he doesn't want to. Hence why she said he came to be with her and wasn't ready to tell the world they were actually separated. I also think Will was having the exact same "affairs" during their separation and that's why she said in their red table interview that he's already got her back for it... insinuating that he's done his fair share. I just think they both understand that Will is the money maker and they don't want to tarnish his image. However, I don't believe the Will that is presented to fhe public is the real Will Smith.

I said the same thing. It’s possible that she has a type of hair loss which is due to over processing or tight braiding, called traction alopecia. The type of alopecia that people might be more familiar with is an autoimmune disorder where the body attacks the hair follicles. This one you would have much less control over, I would think. Hair loss is distressing, no matter how it is caused. But, seeing as she does not appear to take accountability for her actions, it does not surprise me that she would not clarify the cause of her alopecia. Ultimately, she was probably the cause. By not clarifying, she can catch the train of sympathy for people with more severe forms of alopecia which were not caused by the way they styled their hair. She could have easily worn wigs. Some people embrace the condition with grace and choose to not hide it. But she seems to enjoy putting herself on a pedestal for sympathy and personal gain.

Yeah, that was something I wondered too. Did she say what she said BECAUSE OF Spidey’s video? I think it’s possible. As he said, many of us are here (*raises hand*) because of the video about The Slap. Is it so surprising that SHE might have seen that video, and “tuned” her answers to specifically reflect that interpretation? I think it’s likely, whether it’s conscious or unconscious. Great video as always, Spidey. The section on “leading questions” is so spot on and topical for me personally, as someone studying to become a therapist. Highly illuminating!

He clearly made his boundary of not being filmed without asking clear and she repeatedly tried to get him to answer her question on film, blatantly ignoring his boundary that he was vocalizing. Good for him for holding firm and that one clip was so so so telling about their relationship and how she behaves in it. Yes, I actually googled this and thought… I am pretty sure she is lying about the alopecia. I looked at people who actually have it and it’s completely different. She would have to have her head bald no hair coming through at all. And in some cases of alopecia people lose all of their hair including eyebrows and eyelashes not just patches. So she is lying. Someone else already worked out the timeline she gave about Tupac asking her to marry him in jail didn’t work because he had another girlfriend and was engaged to her. He then married her and she married Will. So this whole Tupac was my one true love garbage she’s got hanging over Wills head is just another way to manipulate and deceive him. She’s a serial abuser and liar in my book. I do feel sorry for Will because when your in a toxic abusive relationship it’s very difficult to get out of it. Especially with someone like Jada who realistically just tried to gaslight the entire planet. Listening to her for five minutes leaves me feeling confused and like I’m in some sort of weird cult.

Jada possesses the remarkable ability to discern people's expectations, adapting her responses accordingly. However, her deliberate speech is not merely for the sake of effective communication; it's a tool she uses to carefully construct her explanations, tailoring them to gain approval and manipulate situations to her favor. This tendency to bend reality shields her from acknowledging her own shortcomings, as she constantly strives to justify her actions, making self-reflection and accountability challenging for her.

Jada's level of "healing" is to divert any accountability how she hurts others more directly than she wants us to believe. From how she sidestepped addressing that she had an affair, cheating on Will, with her son's friend! That is at least 3 men she hurt in that sentence alone. And she's done it again with Chris, acting like she didn't encourage Will to lose his cool and take it out on Chris. Her excuse is to pin the blame back on Chris and 'crazy' Will, but not on her. It's not working cause she is the source of the tension and the drama as refuses to admit it!

If that happened, you’d think a huge number of people would have shared this account almost immediately following the incident. Cameras were rolling, whether professional ones or phones, and no one released it? This just seems suspicious to me, but maybe it happened. I certainly haven’t followed her or Will Smith since then. My parents met in their 20s...in fact my Mum was 17. They were married for 54 years and they passed within 9 months of each other. They were deeply in love. They went through tough times financially in the 80s. The one thing I will always take from their marriage is that they always respected one another. When Jada implied that getting married in your 20s meant that 'eyes were going stray', I felt very angry because in a world were the true meaning of marriage is being lost, people with influence should be showing the younger generation by example. I saw what happened at the Oscars and she (in my opinion) 100% incited Will to do something because Will was laughing until Jada gave him this weird look and he suddenly jumped up and made a beeline for the stage. She's definitely the boss in that relationship and I just feel she's got a manipulative personality....but that's just my feeling and I could be totally wrong. To all you young people out there.... Marriage is a beautiful union between 2 people who promise to support one another in becoming their best Version of themselves. Marry someone who builds you up, not someone who tears you down...

I love how articulate and thoughful you are. It is very refreshing, at the same time so informative. You dont come off judgmental or arrogant. You seem humble and down to earth. Which is challenging, especially considering your line of work and accomplishments. Not to mention, being highly intelligent and educated, Im assuming, must be difficult sometimes communicating with us mere mortals. I joke, but to touch back on your articulation compounded with everything else I just mentioned really allows your Genuineness to shine. And for that sir, I admire and applaud you. Now, that I have said all that, I wanted to mention something about Jada that I havent heard anyone else mention. Granted I havent spent alot of time following her or this bizarre relationship with Will. However, I did catch a few quotes and clips. Please, correct me if I am wrong, but she did recently say that Tupac was the actual "Love of her life." Well, here is the kicker , and how coincidental, that Tupac suffered from the same disease that she now claims to suffer from. That being Alopecia. I mean that, everything else she has said, coupled with all the other different indicators you and others have pointed out, For some strange reason, this woman is completely lying about having a disease that her murdered, "love of her life", suffered from. I find myself judging her to harshly and leaning way to far on the "really manipulative/evil mastermind." But maybe she is just a victim of a brokenheart. So I know I am months late on this video, however I hope this reaches you and would love to hear your feedback on that , if any at all. Or, just tell me if none of this makes any sense.? Knowing how bad I am at articulating.! Anyway, thank you again , please keep up the hard work.! I came for the Katt Willams interview breakdown, and immediately started binging your content . From someone who suffered years of narcissistic abuse, I’m calling it. Jada is the biggest narcissist in the book. Will is so absorbed into her manipulation- his willingness to “prove” his loyalty and dedication to her to the point he snapped and then! Jada said “don’t worry baby I got you, the nuances and complexities - say it like this and ‘you’ll be good’” newsflash Jada, since your last round of bullshit society has made themselves more aware of people like you. We see right through you and I pray Will can push through this to the other side. I see exactly what he is going through.. narcissistic abuse makes you someone you don’t even know, don’t even recognize. You become so absorbed and isolated into the manipulation and then everyone turns against you and it’s like “yes… I really do have to push through with this narrative now…” it’s something you don’t know until you’ve lived it.. I stand with Will and I pray for his peace….😔😮‍💨🙏🏻

This reminds me of a TV series I watched where a known liar and manipulator is having conversation with another character who has just experienced the web of lies and deceit. Trying to wrap his head around the audacity of the liar, he asks about all the fabrications and the response is that it was ALL true. The first character incredulously asks, "Even the lies?" The response is, "Especially the lies." I thought that answer really said so much about the nature of the liar. Spidey, you called it. Jada's adaptability is in her capacity to try and change the paradigm that people view her actions through. The American public seems to have a short attention span and are therefore prone to being influenced by the way something is characterized. (as you said, she is trying to control the narrative) Perhaps life is happening so fast, people are too busy or just not they only pay attention in the periphery of their consciousness - they are aware of something going on but forget the details. Perhaps just throwing out her brand of "Jedi mind trick" in the hopes of selling her book. It used to be that you couldn't out spin the truth. These days it almost seems that it CAN happen IF it is done effectively enough, long enough to fade in people's memories. Thanks for pointing out the tell tale signs that things may not always be what they seem to be.

So she uses catch words like healing and growing to indicate that things are improving because we are so good at relationship building. I remember Will saying that he didn't want to do the Red Table but that she insisted under he guise of giving him a chance to express his feelings about it. I think at the end of the day Jada is a total phony and truth just isn't in her. Sometimes people are so convinced of their self-delusions that even their body language works to support them. Until Will speaks out, and I doubt he will any time soon, there is no way we will know the real truth. And I think even Will is not wanting the public to know the real truth. She says, 9:51 “My alopecia is not as extreme as other people dealing with that condition.”. Usually when people describe symptoms that they experience, they take a bit of ownership of the condition by gesturing towards themselves and referring to it as ‘this condition’. This would indicate the acceptance and emotional connection that they have towards the condition. Or maybe she is separating the differences between other people’s experiences and her own. Maybe she does have it, maybe she doesn’t. Jada has proven that she is slippery, I don’t trust much of what she says.

He is trying to set boundaries, by saying: “Don't just start filming me without asking me”. Her response sounds annoyed: “Oh my goodness”. Calling his reaction “foolishness”. I would expect that kind of conversation between a mother and her child, Jada being the mother. I am not even sure they like each other. She totally enjoyed the violence! This constant emasculating Will is sadistic. She was totally smitten with Tupac, yet the feelings were unrequited. Every rapper on KZread or podcasts say timelines in her book don't line up, specifically when he was in Rikers Island. She purchased a farmhouse, Tupac went to jail, within 5 days, she never moved into her new home, instead, flew to Los Angeles to be with Will...he gave in and divorced his first wife. I think this book is going to backfire. Is Will waiting for the right time to divorce Jada, and not be subject to the community property laws? He's got the receipts in her "book". We can only hope he's gotten a good team of Attorneys and biding his time. 😊😂

I had a girlfriend back in the 90s, who would always belittle her boyfriend but played it off as “I’m just playing” and “don’t be so sensitive” whenever she did it. I now realize that she was a narcissist and I am no longer in contact with her. Looking back, I remember episodes of them arguing around our friend group and him saying to her how she broke this or that , and pushed or slapped him but she always would say, “boy, stop lying” or “what are you taking about” so we kind of wrote it off. Man, were we naive and I feel ashamed for not realizing what was actually happening. 🤦🏾‍♀️ Thank goodness for growth, unpacking and realizing my own traumas and upbringing, and unlearning behaviors and mentalities that I grew up with. Nowadays, there’s a lot more information available about toxic people and it opened my eyes.

@@stephenlamley541I know what you mean, I’ve been trough several really toxic relationships, until I noticed that all those years it was me who was searching always the same and wrong type of a man, though I knew the relationship will be full of chaos and end in a catastrophy and me getting hurt really bad. I had a really bad selfesteem and always thought I wasn’t worth more, and I deserved all the toxicity and violence I received in those relationships. And I came to realization that i’ve always been sickly codependent, and finally took several years to only be by myself and heal myself and find my self worth.

Imagine if she were a man publicly doing the things she’s doing to a woman, calling his affair with a kid ( I don’t care about his actual age) the fact still remains he was their sons friend. A husband calling it an “entanglement” bringing his wife on his show and publicly minimizing the affair and watching her get triggered and still airing the episode. Her behavior is insane, she would drag his ass publicly if he did even 1 of those things to her.

So true she did him so wrong and you could see it in his eyes. But know one would've known about the affair is she didn't say anything. So things that go on in your life needs to stay in your house and she's telling everything

I really want to thank you because my 11 yr old daughter has extreme retention issues which causes her to be disinterested in day to day learning when it comes to school ...but i showed her your video on manipulation and gaslighting and i for the first time saw the light come on... she's not only engaged but hungry to learn more...and as a psych major who admittedly has struggled to find ways to get her more engaged....i am so thankful... You have no idea how you have changed my daughter's life and inturn my own.... From the bottom of my heart.... thank you!!!!!

Ont be frustrated by your daughter not engaging in schoolwork, she is obviously a very bright girl and elementary education can hold some pupils back in the wrong kind of mental stimulation, if any. Be glad that you have found a subject that you can bond over and will increase her understanding of her potential despite the grades she may receive in lessons.

I just need my gut, it has not failed me so far. The level of disrespect is more than I can handle. My parents divorced and were separated 5 years (with other partners even) and then they remarried. Never they were disrespectful, even in their worst moments. They had issues and fought a lot. Never my mother would have wished my father being publicly disrespected like this. Never my father did something that got to this level. Unforgivable.

"Like I said in my book", "as I said in the book", "you'll understand after you read the book". I think her trapping him with that phone video was extremely controlling and he seems to be constantly on guard. The first part of the video was getting my sympathy and it gradually began to recede. I have no idea why she has publicly talked so much about these very intimate details of their lives. I would feel so exposed and exploited by my partner if this happened to me.
