shit, was he being a bit annoying there?? intimidating? maybe i wasn't seeing that. i definitely noticed he was doing that and wondered why though.. my thinking was he had probably already established with the guy that he's an invested fan and keeps up with the reviews.. we have no idea the chemistry of the interaction before the video starts, butbwe can assume his energy and this whole hand-on-back gesture is to provide structure and help the person speak into the mic without feeling like he's shoving it in their face. adds dome context. that being said, i'm not a fan of folks standing close to you and being all touchy... i kind of wish i was more open to that though and i wish i had the confidence to be a bit more hands-on too idk in any case, that's between fantano and the guy he was talking to. we're only supposed to worry about the fuckin' content. the music.
