Winner of a video, I have been researching "online alcohol support groups" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Paneyton Preliminary Prevalence - (should be on google have a look ) ? It is a great one of a kind product for discovering how to control your drinking habit without the normal expense. Ive heard some super things about it and my mate got amazing success with it.

Hey James!🤗 thanks for your reply! Your advice is very important to me even though the two people are not in my life anymore, I just wanted to understand the difference between one who drank socially but to excess and turned verbally abusive. And the other one drank more in secret but was still abusive. That's not why I avoid alcohol! It just doesn't agree with me so I'd rather not have it as I'm aware of how fortunate I am that I get to make the choice . In no way do I judge anyone here! All I wish for each and every one of the people here is they are healthy and happy!🙏👍

@@SoberJames I was trying to remember when I lived with each one how often they drank! The ex partner mostly weekends but he just ignored the fact he knew after a certain point if he kept drinking his personality would change not for the better! Think my mother was drinking as an escape from a bad marriage and difficult home life but once it was just me and her she still drank, habit I guess? She too though always had to go way overboard and then be abusive to me. Even when I moved out I got it in phone calls! My current partner hardly drinks but by choice! I'm not forcing him not to as when he's a bit drunk he immediately stops! Plus he doesn't talk to me like I'm dirt! Not saying all people who drink are like that!

@@SoberJames thanks James! This relationship is much better! Sure we have ups and downs like any other couples but if he has a go at me its said sober and he owns what he said wether he was right or wrong! As do I! The other two always said " oh well I was drunk " like it excuses things! My ex was more sorry for the drunken insults than my mother but towards the end even he made sly digs about my body as I've got many scars from waist down due to being born with spina bifida and a dislocated hip! I'm actually proud of my scars as each one made me walk a bit more! The hip will remain dislocated my whole life but I'm not bothered about it as it doesn't cause me too much pain! 😊👍🙏 thanks for taking the time to listen to my experiences and advise me afterwards ❤

I will explain it as simple as this, it’s the phenomenon of craving that doesn’t appear in non alcoholics. For instance, a none alcoholic can have a couple glasses of wine with a meal and stop fine. This man or woman could still abuse alcohol on occasion, but once they stop they don’t lose control. If a person drinks a bottle of wine a night they drink too much, but aren’t an alcoholic. If someone sets out to drink a couple drinks, yet always end up in the double digit drinking, that’s the alcoholic!
