If you press and hold the light button, you can change the color which is really cool.

What intrigues me the most is how they made the display in such a way that the parts that are supposed to block the light (black digits and indication) are also the parts that pass the illumination through. And why do the illuminated digits look transparent with some gridded diffusor behind, despite the rear layer of the display being the reflector? For some reason, there's virtually no information about this, and Google struggles to even pick the name for this type of LCD and provide an exclusive list of the related products, not even finding an explanation on how it works. Posy made a video about these watches, but still only explanation we have so far is that either the liquid crystal itself has an anisotropic light-scattering pigment introduced there, or there is very tricky usage of an additional LCD or birefringence layers.

i think that little circle in the top left hand corner of the watch screen is supposed to be a digital analog clock that had the minute hand and second hand moving around making that a dual time doesnt look like it has that function whatever circle moving around doing.

Its a great watch for the price. Digital, with a backlight, and I'm sure its water resistant enough to swim with

You forgot another you can actually change the color of the light to several colors by pressing on the LIGHT button a few seconds longer ...take that Casio ! ...LoL

is it waterproof

I don't believe it was mentioned, but the assumption is, Chinese-made? Taiwanese? Kinda uncanny how things can be duplicated. For $4 seems like a decent watch. Thanks for a great video.

Here's something that'll make you chuckle: if you press and hold the light button, it'll change the color of the backlight. There's a bunch of them to cycle through, and I won't spoil the fun but the last one in the cycle is kinda nuts. :) SUCK ON THAT, CASIO! :D

Same reason why Rolex, Breguet, and others don't take action against Casio (e.g. Casio Duro looks as much as a Rolex Submariner, as this watch looks as much as Casio Royale).
