My goal is to make this channel exactly what its called, not another watch channel. How will I do that? I guess only time will tell (get it?), but please stick around and grow with me!
If you have a watch that is rated -20 to +40 secs a day, should you try to set it to 0? Will this damage the movement?

So you don't like green, you don't like the bezel, you don't understand the dial etc. etc., but you knew all these details from the photos of the watch when you picked this watch from the watch company to do a review of. WTF lol. You never covered what the movement is, accuracy etc. SMH. Dude get the back story of watch before you review, this review was all over the place and no where. Sorry man, not be harsh but DAMN.

It’s not on me to get the back story, it’s on the company to tell the story. None of that is in the box, with the watch info, or told to me. It’s an unboxing video, I don’t cover accuracy or the moment, it’s a Chinese watch and they’re all frankly basically the same in those categories, no one is buying this watch for accuracy.

For me this watch is a real treat, a mix of 3 Tudors, black bay 41 heritage in size, Pelagos in the hour indices and finally the Tudor 1926 regarding the waffle dial. Mine came perfect in every detail and with excellent accuracy, 0 to 2+ s/p day and a beat error of 0.1. The lume isn't the strongest and the color of it it's little bit different between the hands and indices. Overall I love this piece and recently exchanged the bracelet for zulu red and bege stripe with the famous Tudor buckle!

I own this watch and the larger Sea Dweller homage SN084-G. The MOP dials are beautiful. I don't think they make this MOP dial anymore. They have a new non MOP faded blue to black dial.

So in case no one told you already, the whole watch is supposed to reference a city that was significant to the silk road back in the days. The bezel colours of the 3 models are supposed to ressemble chinese designs of old, and the dial is a map of the area, the long crack is the way traders took, with a stop at the city of Dunhuang. I think the rehaut also has coordinates of the city etched on it. Hope that clears up some confusions you could have had. I personally think it's and interesting take that the Chinese manufacturers had, kind of original design, referencing their own history.

Not really comparing apples with apples is it? If you buy a smaller watch what is the point comparing size? Tandorio make a 40mm with day complication so that would be a more realistic comparison.

I tend to agree, it's not worth it. Even if I stuff up and buy the wrong stuff, I can just buy another. As well if I break something. Just reorder. It's even easier than assembling IKEA furniture. Bought a few tools, tweezers, blower, etc. and extra hands. You don't need much and I'm still ahead. I could buy the makings for two watches 1 tool set and extra hands and have a bit leftover.

Exactly! People are acting like it’s rocket science. You’re not building a movement, you’re putting on 3 hands and dropping it in a case. A 2 min KZread video sums it up perfectly.

I also have the Mercury moonswatch. I bought a bunch of different straps too. The nicest one is a gray parachute strap. The gray straps are much nicer then the black straps. The NATO straps are also nice

My plain, unlabeled submariner version keeps EXCELLENT time and has been fantastic. I put mine on a black Barton band. These quartz watches are always very underrated!

I think that this rubber strap doesn't look very good on your Explorer. I don't know if that's because of the "Everest" brand or the color. Maybe white would be better. On the Yachtmaster, however, I really like the Oyster-Flex.

LGXIGE is get better dial backgound material in my opinion. That have a beautiful metal glow. But geometry of body is better in Sohne.

@ypxgame yes all screwed down...both crown and backplate. Possibly the worst watch ive ever had. I have 30+ watches as i collect them. Kept excellent time but definitely not even splashproof

Don't get it wet. They'll fog up even though they say they're water resistant. They are not. Take it off when you wash your hands or even get around anywhere around water. Where do the wise?

If Pelgos and Black Bay had a child "Pelagos Bay". Actually I'm going to order it to see if it wears well on my 6.5 inch wrist before buying a Pelagos. Dimensions are very similar to Pelagos.
