I think it's the getting rid of the cog causing air drag is what makes the most different. The side wall of the plastic hitting the bush would be minimal if there's a little float going on. The bullet is a nice feature as it sorts both issues out. I need my clicker though for some types of fishing so I'll keep it as is :)

Don't forget to change your pass code from 3326 now haha. My field casting Abu spins for 3 minutes with a mag and ceramic bearings. I'm impressed with how much difference the speed bullet has made to your reel.

Ha ha not my phone but I will tell the wife to change it. Yeah most of mine with hybrid 7s spin for around 3 mins but like you I didnt think the bullet would make such a big difference.

The sleeve needs to be sharpened, I use a simple silicone tube.

What all done to the reel? Super sweet set up man. I just order a full makeover for my 5500 order center mag, speed bullet, ct conversion and little other things can’t wait to get everything in!

I know hybrid ceramic bearings are probably a bit fast for a fishing reel but other that that are they ok for fishing with?

+gary lawlor Yeah dont see why not! Usually run them dry om the field but a bit of oil in them slow them down a bit and keep the metal casing protected from the saltwater.

Is this the reel you would recommend for lighter weights over the 7ht millionare?

6500 id use for 150g. For lighter weights id use a 5500 or 5600, maybe even a 3600w for 100g
