What is a SIRET number & how do I get one?

In this video, I'm explaining what is a SIRET number, how it is used for your business, and how you can obtain one. A SIRET number is a 14-digit unique ID that proves your business is officially registered in France and that you are paying taxes. It's required for legal documents, contracts, invoices, and even the legal mentions on your website. You will also need it when opening a bank account and setting up liability insurance.

In that case I 'm afraid that you need to apply for a business visa such as visa profession liberale from home. Prepare a business & financial plan and apply via France Visa

Hello! Hope you are doing good, I have a doubt like how to cancel the siret number when its not in use.I recently worked in a warehouse and the siret number is created from there. After resigning from the warehouse do i need to cancel the siret number used for working in that firm.?

@edwincredible I'm not sure to understand your situation. Getting a SIRET number means registering a business. Therefore stopping means closing it down with INPI. Just in case: you shouldn't be pushed into creating a business by an employer, there should hire you with a work contract.

@@kjnov8197yes, you can set up an ME while living abroad, with a PO box "adresse de domiciliation" and French bank account when you reach 10,000€ of turnover. You need to look into income tax too.

Hi , we are two guys from Spain (never lived in France or anything like that) but to get Vinted pro it says that we need to register as a French Enterprise (individual sellers) , and get the Siret number also to complete the register , how we can get the siret number without a french account or french number , do you also have the link to register outside France , appreciate it

Hi @sanchez_luciano "2 guys" sounds to me like a partnership, i.e an incorporated business. If you don't plan to move to France, I would look at setting up a SAS as associates, with a PO box "domiciliation" and pay yourselves via dividends. For an Entreprise Individuelle (Miro entrepreneur) you will need a French address. This is for one person only, so I would you split the sales/profit. I'll share a link to my latest video which gives you an overview of the other business structures including SAS

Hi @shahadpk3040 it depends on your situation. Europen students yes. For others, you normally need to have graduated and get the RECE visa, which enables you to look for a ob or create a business (micro entrepreneur only). In the meantime, look of you can get trainee positions for missions "stagiaire" or a CDD contract.
