Very good episode! Just discovered this channel! One other area pharmacists can work in Industry is Investigational Drug Services (IDS). This is where the pharmacists are actually working on Phase 1 - Phase 3 clinical trials testing drugs seeking FDA approval. I've been in the IDS role for 3 years now and it is a very niche role that is really rewarding and has a great work-life balance! These roles can be in a research clinic, a contract research organization (CRO), or as part of a hospital system.

With the advent of COVID, do you anticipate more remote work? If a person does not like to travel, or cannot travel (due to children, etc.) is this a deal breaker in terms of the MSL role being a good career fit? Also you recommended pharmacy graduates to apply for a fellowships. How far out from graduation is it considered allowable to obtain such a fellowship? (how many years maximum after graduation?)
