Hi, as I live in Saudi Arabia is it possible that i give Gmat here and proceed through online admission process? Plus if one has good GPA and good Gmat score but no job experience in that case admission is possible?

Yes you can take the GMAT in Saudia. Admission is possible with 0 experience.

what is better for me GRE or GMAT i am doing civil engineering from NED karachi...good at maths (being an engineer) but average in english and also what are the intitutes that i can join to prepare for the test in karachi

GMAT is better if your Math is good. GMAT math is harder than GRE but its English is relatively simpler. In Karachi,​ I have no idea about decent institutes for GRE prep or GMAT prep!

Hi Talha, I am a fresh BSc engineering graduate. My father has its own cotton company and I have a work experience of 3 years from that company. And I want to apply for MBA Executive. If I take good score in GMAT or Gre then is it possible that I can be admitted in LUMS. I have completed my BSc engineering in 2020.

EMBA needs 5 years or more experience so it is not possible. Regular MBA you can apply and get in....

GRE ka test Lahore main kahan dy skty hain ?

In Lahore you can give the GRE test in FC College Prometric testing center :)

Respected sir , FCC accept 500 GMAT scores or Passing marks in their own test. My question is that can GRE scores can be converted to GMAT scores in that scenario for getting admission there or I should take their own test or GMAT?

Talha Waheed hello yes GRE scores can be converted to GMAT but you will have to check with FCC if they accept GRE score conversions. I am not too sure whether they accept

@@talhaomer167 thanks alot sir.. also i am about to complete my M.S in electronics engineering ( along with my research) too.. so would it be hlpful in anyway in getting admission in LUMS..? like do they consider the fact kay ess banday nay M.Sc ( 18 years) tak parha hoa hai so score agar around 300 bhee hai tho chal jaye ga.. kia aisa kych scene hai sir..?? Also my domicile is from FATA..

If you are 40+ then you can apply for LUMS EMBA and not MBA

Hi Talha!! Is 650 (q45 which is 57th percentile and v34 which is 71st percentile ) enough to get to the interview table? Also I applied in round 1 for MBA so I gave my gmat in january as i thought i'd be called for interview in feb/march but now I have been told by LUMS that Karachi candidates will be interviewed in mid May, my concern is I am no longer working because I had to leave my job to prepare for GMAT. If my work experience gap comes up in the interview how can I tackle this situation ?

Hello Hamza, Well LUMS may ask you to improve your quant score during the interview as they have asked a few candidates to do that in the past especially if the quant score is low. (which is the case in your GMAT score) Moreover regarding your query on the work situation, honestly it portrays a really bad impression that one leaves his job to prepare for the GMAT as it shows that you are unable to handle multiple challenges at once. I would say that if you haven't mentioned that in your application already, you can simply overlook it and pretend as if you are still working there. (although unethical but i don't see any reason that canhelp you defend that) Taking off from work or reducing working hours is still defendable, but entirely giving up your job is not

Thanks for the reply, Do you mean they ask the students to attempt GMAT again? how does that work students are asked to apply agian next year? And I left my job in december (GMAT attempt in mid January) because it was a contractual job and I wasn't offered an extension as the company had to let people go due to their financial issues, do you think I can cover it up by getting another job?

Yes, they will give you some extra time to retake but enrollment is only for that year. Yes that can be a good reason to cover it up!
