W/S you cannot apply without 16 years education! Do a 2 year masters and then apply

Does having one year of successful business experience (starting your own business) count as experience? Especially if someone started their business from scratch and made it successful.

For full time MBA you have to resign. Classes are 7 days a week morning till evening

W/S - Actually this is a very very recent requirement. It was just added by LUMS a few weeks ago. Although I don't have much personal knowledge about it but my guess is that they will somehow convert the NTS scores to GRE/GMAT scores. Because obviously one cannot compare GAT with GRE/GMAT as the GRE/GMAT are much harder than GAT. In my opinion you will need a near perfect GAT score to stand a strong chance for LUMS admissions. But then again I am not too sure. It is just a hunch.

I want to ask, I have bachelors in B.E petroleum and Natural gas engineering with 3.93 CGPA. graduated in 2021. I couldn't get job in market. Should I switch to MBA.

Ideally work experience of Full time in some good company. But any experience is acceptable at LUMS

The procedure is the same. Just take the GMAT/GRE/GAT (any one of these exams), fill out the application online and submit your recommendations to apply.

Yes internships and freelance work during undergrad or part time work during undergrad is also counted as work experience.

Yes they do. Although they don't say it but in my view they would because GRE/GMAT are better indicators of success for a graduate degree.

The program costs 2.5 million to 2.8 million pkr and the average pay is 140K. Considering the 2 year opportunity cost and the fact that the cost will be covered in 2 years I think it is a pretty bad deal. It's like you'll reach breakeven in 4 years. You should rather invest your 2.5 million in a business and build your own empire. It's better in every sense.

Sorry, if its felt like this. Fact is that most of Pakistani mills or factory owners are/were not "qualified enough" but they hired highly qualified people to take care of their businesses. Its in that perspective. Hope, its cleared now.
