It does sound better in the older cars with their exhaust configuration it still don't sound as good as the older mod motors but definitely better than the way they sound in the newer stangs.

This is so true. A big factor that's turned me away from the coyote swap is when I've heard them at the track in current Stang's. They just sounded obnoxious to me.

Love the idea engine swap did that once 85 put in a 93 with very little miles on it instead of rebuild it for me loved it was very happy with the performance

Man that’s nice , some cool smaller cool lettering saying coyote swapped in red on the lower front fenders down near bottom of door and , down out of the way , would set it off , but I get it sleeper is the key

Because they sound better in the older pre 2005 cars with mid mounted mufflers. The kind of exhaust also greatly effects this most coyote guys with s550s have headers no cats x pipe and corsa extremes or some other ridiculous loud muffler and it's rasp central. If you do an hpipe and more tame mufflers it makes a world of difference. They always sound better in the pre 2005 cars.

Bad ass, that set up would beat down on a 2003 Cobra Terminator

Does the coyote work with the manual transmission off the 4.6 2v? No adaptor plates or anything needed?

Yea, that sounds awesome! My Mach 1 sounds better, but the extra ponies make it worth considering a swap when the motor goes.

I have to take off the positive side of the battery on my 2003 gt new edge 2 value stock. I'm guessing I have a short because the battery will die over night.

Around 5-8k

Love the Foxbody's but something about the New Edge GT's anymore, have grown very fond of them, and surpassing the Foxes, then like you said, do a Coyote swap them they become the ultimate build, the perfect blend of new power and older car.

My buddy got an 03 New Edge Coyote also and I have an 01 2 valve GT... It just kills me how my 2 valve is under powered...

It’s helleva cheaper to do a New Edge than a fox!

What I wanna know is, does it still have A/C?

It will fit but you’d have to swap out a lot more parts compared to what a new edge v8 would have to
