Oh, I used to work at that bus company as a bus washer. Good to see it again after five years ago!

I thought they were flying there. But by bus it is cheaper and good. Because that way you can see the landscape. Achei que iam de avião para lá. Mas de ônibus é mais barato e bom. Porque assim podem ver a paisagem.

Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood and beach is also amazing, and "Morante dona Marta" you will have a panoramic view of Rio for free

Tourist places usually don't have their names translated. They are known by their original names. Which makes it even easier for tourists to find them when visiting the citys. If they use the names as you suggested, few Brazilians will be able to help them (most of us don't speak English). But if they ask for Cristo Redentor even if their pronunciation is very wrong, everyone will understand.

Hi besides the beach,sugar loaf and Christ the redeemed you should also check it out park lage,Tijuca forest ,Maua square ,and take the bondinho to Santa Teresa a charming and historic neighborhood on the hills.

I advise you to visit the cities of Paraty, Penedo and the mountainous region of Rio. Even in the state of São Paulo there is much to see, such as Campos do Jordão, Ilhabela, Maresias, Ubatuba, etc. You need to visit the cities in the south of the country Gramado, Florianópolis, Joinville, Camboriú considered our Dubai. In the Northeast Porto de Galinhas, Lençóis Maranhenses, Fortaleza, Canoa Quebrada and Salvador. In the central region of Bonito and Caldas Novas. I always enjoy taking the ferry to Niteroi from the Praça XV de Novembro. Cheap and you can grab a couple of beers and stand out in the front and watch your new city approach.

Flights are definitely cheaper than the bus and landing in Rio domestic airport is just amazing

Alright, now you're in Rio: try and go to Floresta da Tijuca one day and to Ipanema beach. In Ipanema, get to Casa da Feijoada to have some of the excellent famous bean stew. And then get to Mureta da Urca to have some beer and watch the sunset.

After visiting the Rio, there are some cities like Brasília ( Capital ), Curitiba, Salvador and Recife that are indispensable in a tour by Brasil.

Aqui na Europa os ônibus são uma porcaria perto dos nossos. Peguei um Alemão que fazia a rota Noruega-Suecia e além de não confortável, serviço péssimo e ainda começaram a procurar posto de combustível aberto de madrugada pq o Diesel estava acabando! Kkkk

por que como tem mt gente pobre que so anda de onibus no brasil, as fabricantes aqui evoluiram muito, a fabricante Marcopolo que fez esse busão azul do video (Marcopolo G7 Paradiso 1800 DD) é a terceira maior fabricante do mundo 100% brasileira deve ser a mais comfortavel tbm

I hope.you enjoy your week in Rio. Try also to go to another areas in Rio where are gorgeous such as angra dos reis, arraial do cabo, buzios. When you mentioned pizza I think it is interesting to share that in Brasil we are used to eat pizza with fork and knife. So dont be surprised to see this happening there. When I share this here in NY everybody gets surprised.

Não sei vocês, mas eu gosto muito de viajar de ônibus. Coloco o fone bluetooth e só vejo a paisagem. Uma das frotas mais bonitas que eu já tive a oportunidade de fazer foi de Belo Horizonte-MG/Aparecida do Norte-SP. Só música e paisagem. No caminho tem fazendas produtoras de café, são muito lindas.

Visit the new ferris wheel in the port zone nearby downtown area, also must go to another cities in the Rio state like região dos Lagos (lakes region) cities like Cabo Frio, Arraial do Cabo, Búzios and more, are a getway escape for cariocas, in the high season.
