What if We Get GREATER NEPAL back?

Greater Nepal has been the talk of the town nowadays but do we really need it? As we see the dreams of defeating and capturing the neighbouring lands of India, we also need to see the reality of what comes with "it." Be it Political majority or the people, Nepal is bound to be affected more than we can imagine. Indepth Story covers on how we should be advocating for Better Nepal rather than Greater Nepal.

There are lots of example of transfer of lands between countries which were previously colonized. here are a few examples of territorial transfers: 1. Transfer of the Canal Zone: The Panama Canal Zone was transferred from the United States to Panama in 1979. The transfer involved the gradual return of the territory to Panama's sovereignty and the eventual transfer of control over the Panama Canal. 2. Transfer of Macau: Macau, a former Portuguese colony, was transferred to China in 1999. Similar to the transfer of Hong Kong, it followed the "one country, two systems" principle, granting Macau a high degree of autonomy under Chinese sovereignty. 3. Transfer of Sinai Peninsula: As part of the Camp David Accords in 1982, Israel returned the Sinai Peninsula to Egypt. This transfer involved the withdrawal of Israeli forces and the establishment of normalized diplomatic relations between the two countries. 4. Transfer of Northern Epirus: After World War I, the region of Northern Epirus, primarily inhabited by ethnic Greeks, was transferred from Albania to Greece as part of the Paris Peace Conference. The transfer was based on ethnic and national identity considerations. Now your next content should be on the topic that explains the condition of people after the transfer.I mean what happened to the people.. did the people did exactly same things that you have explained in video? What if we can get both greater and better Nepal ? Little knowledge is dangerous

Over 90 per cent of Nepal's trade happens with India which gives a lot of power to India to control us by threatening to change trade policies or stopping supplies. Recently, India agreed to purchase electricity under the agreement that we cannot give contract to chinese companies. If we shared border with bangladesh, pakistan and bhutan then we did not have to obey everything India say.

India is never mentioned until the British unified the divided land and hence your claims in the so called Indian territories is a facade of your incompetent imagination. And after your so called independence if Nepal had not donated rice and wheat during those critical times of poverty you all would have died like dogs. Therefore, you (Indians) shit in the plate that they eat from!

if we dont raise the voice and aware the world about Nepal and India's problem, than it will be an advantage for india, you know the past about the border blockade india did to Nepal, when we needed them the most as soon as the 8.4 earth quake that rumbled many houses and many dreams of nepali people. We want indian people and the world to be aware about the facts of greater Nepal. We may not get back the land area of the greater Nepal but definitely we will impact on the understanding and mindset of how nepali people have helped india in many ways to counter china in the past and geographically give advantage to get sikkim and helped getting held together the seven sister of north east to india like Mizoram, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Tripura, Arunachal Pradesh and Nagaland with indian territory. if darjeeling and siliguri was not part of india and was nepal than sikkim and the seven sister could have been already under china and the incident like border blockade will not happen again in the near future once our message is properly conveyed. we want to have upper hand and may be sign some treaty with india ,so that we can have trading route to Bangladesh and many other beneficial work. we cant trust china at all and we need india's support but the bitter fact is we cant trust india blindly too. i will request you to take ur video down (delete )so that we efficiently aware nepali, indian and the world.

Not only it moralizes us to have a better ideology about our country , but also impacts greatly on the present scenario of medias who have so weak contents to present! This kind of videos must be brought to the mainstream (TV, radio) so that all doubts regarding the falsified concepts would be clear among the Nepalese of all age groups. Jay Nepal 🇳🇵

Nepal has ruled in Sikkim-Darjeeling for 33 years, Kumaon for 25 years, Garhwal & Thakurai rajya/ Shimla region for 20 years, parts of Bihar & UP ??? We never ruled parts of Bihar & UP. Our honourable rulers and army conquered that part and just after that Anglo-Nepal war started. The terai (of present Nepal) was almost covered with forest where mostly Tharu people lived and only in a few areas in Easter terai some cultural similarly people of Bihar lived. This means that Nepal ruled in the Himalayan part which our rulers and army United in Nepal but also looted severely in the initial phase. Anyways, it seems that Nepal has actually consisted of only Sikkim (pop-6 lakh, area-7096 sq km), Darjeeling district (2092 sq km, 16 lakh), Uttarakhand (53000 sq km, 1 crore 14 lakh), Shimla region (17000 sq km, 35 lakh, it doesn't include other parts of Himachal Pradesh like Dharmashala, etc). The combined population would be 1 crore 70 lakhs and the area is approx 79000 sq km. The current area of Nepal is 147181 sq km. We have always learnt that Nepal lost approx one third of Greater Nepal with British-India. The half of 147181 sq km is approx 74000 sq km. The hill population of current Nepal is around 2 crore. The hill population of greater Nepal would be around 3 crore 20 lakhs out of 4 crore 70 lakhs of total population. Nepali dialect is closer to the Kumaoni and Garhwali language than Hindi, so Nepali could be taught there as well. If effective administration and governance is done, Nepal could invite other Nepali origin people living in Assam, other parts of North East, Myanmar, Bhutan and reverse brain drain. The combined population would be 4.80 crores and more than 3.3 crores would be of hilly origin. Nepal could be linked to Bangladesh, Bhutan as well and would get bigger cities/towns like Siliguri, Darjeeling, Gangtok, Haldwani, Naini tal, Dehradun, Haridwar, Shimla, Solan, Bilaspur, and many more. The nominal GDP of newly parts of Greater Nepal would be approx 53 billion USD, while that of current Nepal is approx 43 billion USD in 2022-23 AD. So the total GDP would be 96 billion USD and hence the nominal per capita income of 96 billion/ 48 million = 2000 USD as per 2022-23 data. There would be several industrial corridors, which could fulfill our manufacturing needs to a great extent and import-export balance, like as South Sikkim- Siliguri, Haldwani-Rudrapur, Dehradun- Haridwar- Roorkee, Shimla-Solan, Bilaspur. In the initial part, India would of course be angry with Nepal but later for security, trade and other several reasons, India would come for friendship with Nepal as both need each other as huge parts of North India would be closer to Nepal but then in more equal order. Nepal could shield its border and work in EPG framework. Nepal could develop (China-Nepal-Bangladesh) economic corridor where Bangladesh could use route of Nepal to trade with China and Nepal could use route of Bangladesh to open its economy with the world. Nepal would have an opportunity to look into South East Asian market. We could trade with those countries instead of trading only with India mostly and helps to keep a balanced trade. The best part would be that we could live with culturally similar people of Sikkim- Darjeeling, Uttarakhand, Shimla region and children of our old ancestors. :)

Otherwise if we are ready for a sudden demographic shift it would be wise to join the Republic of India rather than claiming for the Greater Nepal.
