Jools Watsham (Co-founder of Renegade Kid) mentioned that he pitched a remake of VB Wario Land with a demo, Nintendo sadly didn't respond to him. Hopefully, Nintendo will reconsider, seeing as they're currently padding out the 3DS' twilight years with remakes and ports. Until then, there's always emulators and games with similar mechanics.

Game boy color and virtual boy are close to the same time. I loved my virtual boy and honstly the only complaint people had at the time was that it was the equivalent of black and white when color handhelds were the norm at that time. Honstly I think if virtual boy was in color at the time it would have taken over the game market but we will never know. Great video you got yourself a new sub.

@TrueSinister mine was portable, it ran on batteries. As for the headaches, I never had that problem. I would lay on my bed with the stand on my chest and the headset angled down so the headset would sit on my face and would play for hours straight with no headaches or anything. Some people still have motion sickness with new headsets and I've never experienced that either so I'm sure each person is different when it comes to he headache part. I've been playing the virtual boy go emulator on my oculus and it's awesome, about as close as you can get to the original. Good times.

I think it would've looked watered down had it been ported to the og GB. The GBA was the perfect machine for that I think.

GB has a slower animation as seen on Wario Land game. I think if Wario Land VB has a remake, the characters and enemies will stay 2d but colored and the level are 3D.

It seems like Nintendo never does what we want them to do... Nice video by the way.
