It's insane the amount of stuff they've added to the shitty custom character compared to the actual characters, they've literally had events for mega man, ninja turtles, monster hunter etc all of which have added custom character skins while the main game has received only a single costume or the base roster and still nothing for any if the dlcs. Rashid players out here with no costume for like 10 months lol

honestly, just get rid of neutral drive rush all together, then return plus frames to buttons(like its been for the last 30 years). after we talk about dr canceling special moves. so dp into whatever comes back, just dont allow specials to be cancelable on block so you dont get safe dps. then fix parry so that it requires a direction to defend. ie high/low and left and right. done.

The Super doing less damage looked pretty nice. The combo damage reduction was a little too much but looked alright. I’m tired of modern fighting games going for a 1-3 interaction long round after things get optimized. 4-6 would be nice for players but not spectators. It ain’t like most players in top 100 make a living off tournaments anyways.

Running into your own fireballs/projectiles would be a game changer for the better.

The Yor costume really should have been a thing though. I just can't get excited for battle passes or events when it's all avatar stuff. Love the game, but the costumes suck.

Only 1 costume for the base roster since release is insanely little imo, Rashid is out around 10 months and still has got nothing at all. The avatar costume stuff is fun if it's alongside actual content for the main game but them choosing to spend their dev time on avatar costumes instead of costumes for the characters is insane to me.

The damage nerf on level 3s looks good to me. Not sure what you were trying to prove with that; it's almost universally agreed that level 3s do too much damage/meter builds to quickly to enable too many of them. This is even more relevant for disgusting level 2s like Blanka

If the damage nerfs were implented, I will be uninstalling. But, I do love more outfits for our characters, cheaper prices, and a nerf for JP's unique parry.

Meanwhile Gief level 1 and some parts of his kit are technically broken. Either in his case they dont know what they are doing or they are deliberately making him weak so no one will pick him. @@EdgeO419 I can’t and won’t speak for early sf games as I only started with sf6 but in sf6 I’d call gief the outlier out of everyone else. Him and Honda. Because every character is still viable to win. Snake eyes qualified capcup WITH gief. In some other fighting games like mk9 for example, using a bottom tier in tourneys literally makes it so you can’t win. If the worst character in sf6 can qualify for the biggest tournament for sf6 I think the all around balance was handled pretty well

Not even man , take a look at third strike for example . On wakeup every character had 6 frames of throw invulnerability, that seemed to work good enoguh where it completely stopped throw loops . Like actual pressure on wakeup is not completely braindead
