Same could be said about alpha. Karin, Sakura and Cody alone generates so much popularity with two of them essentially being guarantees. Even Maki (Final Fight character introduced in a ported version of SFA) is heavily requested. There’s a reason why the base roster selection is SF2+Juri along with a practically SFV dlc bar Akuma. Only two series titles missing.

One of France's best Urien does play Bryan in tekken, so from a sample size of one it does track Search for Feetwork101 to find Dr Steelhammer's channel and his leaving mongolia/5 min set of videos to see if Urien would click with you. 3s is an amazing game, you should try it !

You forgot to mention how god damn cool his powers are, his appearence and just his megalomaniac personality overall.

Urien became my 3rd favorite SF character during SFV's duration. His long normals, cool combos, aegis, st. Hp, and his immaculate drip. I need him in 6.

Don't play Urien that well but respect those that mastered him. He was a guy I used in SFV and basically helped me know my pokes and how to charge (the next one was Necalli). Ever since then, my gameplay has been crazier. And it's all thanks to funky aegis man

We need Urien in 6!!!! Let him show the Rashid, Ed, and Blanka players what a REAL level 2 win condition looks like with Aegis

I was never good at SF III, I played it at the arcades but was never good enough or had enough tokens to get good at it. Still loved the game though. But one time I saw a guy playing with Urien doing the stuff you see on the video and it was a magical sight to behold. Were you allowed to do that? How? What? Why? Anyway, thanksfor the video. been playing urien for around a decade now, s rank on fightcade. glad to see other people are appreciating the depth this character has.

This is really one of my favorite videos I’ve seen on YT recently.

I also particularly love the disconnect between him being presented as a brute mad man, through both his design, voice lines and adrenaline overflowing theme, but being the most big brain character to master in gameplay. You consider the prior three elements and you think he be big oonga boonga man the likes of Leo Whitefang, but he's the complete opposite of that. Even in lore he's actually a genius, being the one behind the Twelve experiments and all of that, but he still got that duality of being a bloodthirsty asshole. It's great.

This is now one of my favorite FG videos in recent memory. Ty for making an honest outlook on such an overhated game that's unable to escape its reputation from launch.

Some legendary 3rd Strike Uriens are RX, rkf, Messatsu, Anago, and RB. RX is basically the Urien godfather. The best Urien is RB most of the 3rd strike clips used were RB. rkf is a lab monster you can find his channel on KZread he has some absolutely insane stuff on there. Messatsu is the personification of Urien rushdown.

Got into FG's around the time Urien came out in SFV. The moment I saw Aegis Reflector I said, "That's my shit!" and was a Urien main from that day forward. Even have a picture of his 5HP "chop" as the HP button on my stick. If they bring our boy back for SF6 I will probably cry tears of joy.
