Your only problem with the deepslate is that you were trying to use the wrong variety. Deepslate tile is perfect for any black roof as it mimics roof tiles perfectly. Excellent build over all! Especially keeping the details simple. I know that was hard from watching you build the village. As much as I like the village, it had way too many details for a village created by the game. Mojang likes to leave villages half empty for the players to build in. 😉

i'd say this fits PERFECTLY for the cherry blossom biome! also, i think deepslate tiles would work much better than blackstone for the village house's roofs

The temple looks great very vanilla. I can just imagine finding some special sword with some new enchantment. Like in the ancient city.

Your videos have inspired me to create a Chinese bamboo village and a Mayan jungle village. I also like your German accent. And I think you should change the villager's skin in the cherry blossom biome, make them look like WEEBS or those Japanese cloak wearers. Maybe even ninjas?

this is quiet impressive! i love the simple design that you made and yes it would defiantly look cool to find a random temple on the cherry grove biome, it would make the biome more and more exciting especially if small treasures come along with it :D good video as always mate

I honestly think adding slabs and staircases would be fine.. I mean the new structures like the pillager outposts are very detailed too.

I absolutely love this build. I really hope Mojang takes that into consideration as well! (also, I have a tiny idea for the interior of the bottom floor, maybe there could be a shrine with candles all around it? idk how to not make it religious though, but I think it fits a Japanese aesthetic!)

The people saying that the village can't have blackstone because it's a nether material are forgetting that the villagers trade quartz which is a nether material so the villagers can travel to the nether therefore it makes sense
