The thing is there is absolutely 0 chance they could stop thanos. Loki has moderate levels of super strength and magic, the magic doesn’t work there but you can’t take away someone’s super strength. However thanos has strength on levels so great he would just destroy anyone and anything the tva sent to get him. The only thing the tva could do is rewind time and let the heroes try again, or bring other heroes to help.

Steve Rodgers was a much better choice because they had teased it in Age of Ultron and it fulfilled his character arc. Yeah and they employ humans that Thanos can easily overpower. Plus I doubt that disintegration stick even works on stronger individuals. All weve seen them effect is humans, other Minutemen and random objects. The Black Order are far more durable than those things. Also Maw would absolutely destroy them before getting in range of them. Hes a telekinetic that wouod stay at a distance rather than swarm them close enough to be disintegrated by a stick. The only one that the disintegration stick would effect is Maw, as hes the physically weakest(but he wouldnt let that happen). Whats more likely is that the Black Order destroys the TVA. Maw would effortlessly lift the disintegration sticks and reset charges off the ground while Thanos destroys them with the Power Stone. Corvus Glaive would then cut them down with his Glaive which is capable of penetrating Visions vibranium body - so its definitely sharp enough to cut through Minutemen. Or Cull Obsidian just crushes them.

I reckon there are infinite timelines. Doctor Strange did not attempt to view every timeline. He kept viewing timelines till he saw one where they win. I am guessing that this process is potentially fatal. Once hew saw a timeline where they won, why would he continue viewing timelines? So there could have been others where Thanos lost.

The timekeepers say this can’t happen.

The TVA doesn't care what your mom thinks you're supposed to do, it cares only about what He Who Remains thinks you're supposed to do. If your mom told you to do the dishes on Sunday, and you did them on Saturday, and you weren't arrested by the TVA, then you were supposed to do the dishes on Saturday and likely would have gotten arrested for doing them on Sunday.

But now that Kang has been killed and the multiverse has been unleashed, Those alternate universes now exist that's why tobeys and andrews universes exist and possibly the x-men movies. In the loki series it looked like it took seconds to catch up with the sacred timeline but for the people in those universes it felt in real-time and one thing to know some timelines broke up like thousands of years before endgame and some others only broke off like 200 years before endgame and all that happened in seconds while for them it was in real-time.

It would have changed a lot in the mcu if thanos had won

One thing I want to put out there is that there is a common misconception that the infinity stones can only wipe out half of all life but it could technically take out all of life in one snap if Thanos wanted them to but since this was not his goal it only took out half of all life.

The whole thing would've played out the same since minor changes don't mean anything to the tva since it would still play out the same since the only thing gone would be the big fight but a different reason to frame spiderman as the villain

If you think of it, Strange said they only win in 1 of all the chances, so that means if Thanos won it would have been one of the other timelines in wich that was suoposed to happen so TVA wouldn't interfere.

This was brilliant loved how you had the TVA and do what if Star Lord never lost his cool at Thanos in infinity war

I still think He Who Remains picked the timeline where Tony dies, and Steve stays in the past as the Sacred Timeline, because all versions of Kang are afraid of them, and he wanted to remove them from the equation so they couldn't stop He Who Remains from rising to power. Turns out, without Tony, and Steve, He Who Remains loses.

Before watching this, I just like the thumbnail, good stuff

I love the "what if events went differently😳"

Imagine getting your house robbed in the middle of the night, you jump out of bed, grab a gun, and shoot the intruder. Then the TVA pops in like "you were supposed to let your house get robbed"

Thanos explicitly stated that he would tear the universe to it's last atom, and create a new one- so the entire sacred timeline would crumble

This is a masterpiece

Disney really needs to hire you for what if.your storys are phenomenally great!!!.
