And at that time, as we see in Age of Ultron, he was not worth of Mjolnir at that time. So if he was defrozen at that time, he would just report it to shield as the good soldier that he was at that time and the story would be veryyy similar in the end.

@@Althar9809Steve certainly was worthy to lift the hammer in Age of Ultron. The fact he moves it at all means he is worthy. There is no scale of worthy you are or aren’t. You can lift the hammer or you can’t. It’s part of Steve’s worthiness that when he realized he could lift the hammer he chose not too for the sake of Thor.

Such an underrated series. Some really cool concepts, interesting animation and genuine fun!

This series should be running endlessly…think of all the possibilities. This is the best thing to come out of Disney+ for Marvel. It’s literally a new age for Marvel Comics as it can cover everything under Marvel brand while riding on the MCU nostalgia.

I really love Marvel’s attention to detail. The first time I saw the episode with Killmonger, it felt a little random and out of left field, but I just chocked it up to anything being possible in the multiverse. However, when I watched Black Panther again after seeing that episode, there was a line of dialogue that made me do a HUGE double take. The characters are talking about Killmonger and Everet Ross starts listing off his feats and personal history, and he mentions that KILLMONGER SERVED IN AFGHANISTAN!!

It’s funny how What If… a premise of unique variants, became its own single multiverse

You know what, I think it's neat Coulton will be doing the What If...? breakdowns over the holidays, but I can almost guarantee you that no one would fault you if you took a break and did them all at once when you got back. We'll be here.

I guess it's easy to make someone work through the holidays if they live in a TV inside a Video Store located at the edge of existence. 😂

Came back after I remembered my idea, what if Pepper turned evil and gave Tony’s mk1 heart arch reactor to hammer or whiplash instead of encapsulating it

My only complaint is the glossing over of Carol fighting Thor without breaking a sweat and dominating their fight until the hammer trap. This was one of the best showcases of MCU Captain Marvel's fighting prowess so far, and you had to have been curious of what the "strongest avenger" (per Kevin) was capable of in a fight.

In that 1st fight, Capt marvel wasn't exerting her full power and Thor was just joking around, he was basically enjoying playtime. In the 2nd fight CM sucker punched Thor then they didn't get to fight. Honestly, they're evenly matched here, but Thor has the potential to become more powerful than she ever could.

I cannot state this enough- ENJOY YOUR CHRISTMAS!

I can't wait to see the concepts for What If season 2, though I wish the Fantastic Four and the X-Men would be in the new season.

What if the super soldier serum ended up with Hydra? What if Bruce & Natasha ran away during civil war. What if Hawkeye died instead of quicksilver? What if Frieda didn't die in Thor 2?

No, the Watcher tries not to interfere for the very reason that Doctor Strange embodied. He new that it was less dangerous bring Natasha to that world that had lost their other avengers, than to willy nilly restore people whose deaths might serve as fixed points in those universes.

Looking forward to seeing Culton do the vids, so long as no one tells him his conciousness is trapped inside a tv screen…

Question for @screencrush... Ive been re-watching the epic series agents of shield. I seem to remember reading somewhere the reason the mcu en aos don't connect on all points is because of different multiverses but it being the multiverse saga is it possible to get some of the Stars on the big screen in the future? And secondly i do find it interesting there isnt any mention in the movies about anything that happens in aos. Even if its a seperate universe some things should be the same right? Can u maybe do a video on it ? 🙋

What if QuickSilver is alive

What if (volume one) was mostly a Marvel version of the Twilight Zone comic book with superheroes. Each story was stand alone. Almost always ended badly which magnified the importance of the 616 universe. This cartoon undermined the 616 universe in favor of a narrative that the writers wanted over the pre-existing incarnations.

Was surprised the 3rd episode"s title wasn't "What if Hope Dies?" Instead of "What if the Avengers Die?" Such a wasted hidden joke/hint of why the story went the way it did.

Does black widow being transported to another universe now make it possible for an incursion to happen? Bc technically she isn’t from that universe n it’s been stated that interacting or messing w. Another dimension = incursion as stated by Marvel themselves.

I am hoping that Phase 4 was simply an introduction, getting the players on the board. Remember that the Venom symbiote is now loose in 616 and Monica and Strange are both off in other universes/dimensions.

Day 3 of asking to cover the Halo series on paramount+

They should have gotten rid of episode three or the zombie one instead of the one with Gamora, and aired one of those two in season two. It would have made the series feel so much more complete.

I still think it’s stupid that ultron had all the infinity stones n supposedly killed all life in his universe but yet left two living creatures n in his home planet. So who’s to say he didn’t leave other life forms alive? Also since he had the mind and soul stone he could have found out that he hasn’t finished the job. So technically he couldn’t/shouldn’t be able to find the watcher since his universe wasn’t silent as he claimed.

Utron wasn't out to destroy all life, just life advanced enough to become a threat to itself or other planets. Ryan missed the many worlds that Ultron ignored because they weren't advanced enough to make a difference.

While I enjoyed WI season one, I kinda wish each episode had been its own independent story - a true anthology, like the comics I remember. There’s already a ton to keep track of in the live action MCU. Keeping track of this alternate reality (realities) is exhausting.

I loved that they resurrected Black Widow, which was a nice non-to the comic books pulling a fast one at the end of an issue and then it’s just accepted as fact by the next issue. They opened a door for cross-reality travel as a way to return fridged characters.

Really loved What If Season 1. The only weakest episode was the 3rd episode, which aired on my 29th birthday (yes, I enjoyed the Party Thor episode more than everyone else. Sue me.). I loved the animation style and most of the MCU actors returning to voice their characters. I also loved hearing Chadwick Boseman as T'Challa for the last time. Can't wait for Season 2.

I don't remember hearing Thanos say that but he's absolutely right. The problem in our world is NOT overpopulation, the problem is poor allocation and inefficient use of our resources. Half of it gets wasted, we produce more waste than necessary, and the resources aren't distributed based on need but for profit. If you haven't realized yet, the problem isn't overpopulation, the problem is capitalism.

The Dr. Strange episode is kinda pointless because hasn’t ended up with her in any universe so he technically always loses her
