It gives Anakin a home full of love, and the Amidalas would definitely attempt to get Shmi out of Slavery and even if by that time Lars freed and married her, would invite him and his family as well as Shmi to Naboo to live a more comfortable life. Dooku would train Anakin both out of an obligation to his former Padawan and maybe under Sidious’s order since the Jedi wouldn’t be training Anakin to fight the Dark Side. It’d be an interesting premise to say the least.

I don’t get him not saving her. I’m a super powerful Jedi serious engineering and flying capabilities. With some planning and securing stuff he had more than enough ability to get her and if the Jedi don’t like it I’d be like yeah that’s my only relative I know of my master was the closest thing it a father and obi wan is kind of a jerk to keep at times so I’m going to save them. I mean it seems like many years before he would have had the power already to go save her. He’d have access to whatever he needs to bring with him to take the thing off that doesn’t let them escape and he couldn’t easily slip in at night and smuggle her out and then get her a place secretory somewhere either near padme or on the planet with the Jedi temple. Obviously I’m sure he could get money if needed with his abilities both as a Jedi and engineer and pod racer or padme could provide it. If it takes. While to get there make an excuse say you got lost on a mission invent a mission close to where you need to be and then get lost or just say you were captured or whatever else to cover and then later say you escaped or found help where you were stranded.

Anakin: Heyyyy. Padmé: Anakin Skywalker, if you weren't maimed, I would have done it myself. Anakin: Sorry, love. Padmé: You will be. Anakin: I'm sleeping on the couch, am I?

Yes glad that the Clones to help save the day at Polus Masa. Also not surprised that Anakin was really not forgiven and he and the family just disappeared to live their lives on an unremarkable planet.

It's hard to say he was following orders, and the jedi don't have a mandate to overthrow the leader of the Republic the senate would also be upset at the jedi for not keeping them informed and to be told by the jedi the reason there corrupted, I think many would forgive him on a personal level and the clones would have his back and view his as a victim like themselves.

@@ChristopherGonzalez1280yeah but Anakin was a slave with no guidance really and obi wan didn’t help a lot of the time, I think over and over the council pushed him the wrong way; I mean you try being this person who’s just born from the force with no father who has immense power unlike any other and very few believe in you and the council of these authority figures constantly puts you down and then tells you you have too much fear when they clearly fear you. It’s just stupid. If he had gotten more actual support he may have been less susceptible to his weaknesses and fears mixed with his immense power he’s trying to learn to master. And then was used by someone who tricked everyone and was really good at it; I mean he tricked padme into helping him gain immense power and Anakin had very little guidance and was troubled and he and a long time to mislead him and he is a dude who can literally hide himself from an entire council of Jedi for years you don’t think he had immense ability to trick people. The point was he was balanced between these forces and is more powerful so he’s unstable more and with more support he may have not turned, he was battling things within himself. Also we don’t really know maybe sidious was using the dark side to warp his thinking as he may have been doing that with the dreams and so on.

You keep finding ways to turn Windu to the dark side. He would never do so under his own volition as he keeps that part of himself in check and in balance. But as a mecha zombie twisted by Sidious? Yeah, he's going full dark side.

Well yeah it’s still her husband and the person she feels probably the closest tie to and she and others may feel partially responsible for him turning. He’s the most powerful being like ever who came form slavery and struggle and those around him did very little to help direct him his original master was the only one who has that ability and he was lost the first father figure he’d had cut down quick. Also part of the core of Star Wars is like even someone as evil as Vader still had good and could be redeemed there’s a massage of extreme redemption and hope when even the person themselves thought they were too far gone and still had something to be redeemed. If Luke saw it there’s a chance padme would as well.

And if anyone could maybe get him to not be so evil you’d think someone like padme would do it, or his original master. Obi wan is like a brother but he’s also off in some areas in how he handles Anakin.

Amazing Work Desperately Need More than Prequels: Defeat Palpatine, Save Republic and Vibe I Know It Make’s Contextual Sense but alot of Your Best Story Features Are More Nuance That Various Ashoka Stories, Padme Dying, Anakin Doing less Generic Anakin Things, Force Clones, Leaving The Order and Great Character Changes, even Love Stories People Going off to Do something New Great Work anyways

Also, what if their original galaxy had gone to war with the galaxy that this whole story takes place in, and that they had also originally intended to conquer ALL of the galaxies that are in the cosmos?

Considering that Anakin got flame broiled a few seconds after he landed, was wondering how Palpy didn't burst into flames as soon as he stood near Anakin. Palpy should had been rolling around the ground and end up falling into the river of lava. Anyway if Padme did the same thing of going near Anakin. C3PO has a better chance of getting Anakin out of the beach.
