well as far as Yoda vanishing in to thin air seen many Jedi do that in many films but I like the plot twist and it stopped Palpatine's plans real fast and his rise to power died even faster so this is the story line they could have run with even if someone else not so high in the Jedi Order would have turned to the Darkside and the topper was Anakin figuring out it was Palpatine who altered his dreams to make him have those nightmares in the first place

To be fair, Yoda had a vision where he and Anakin failed to destroy Sidious (yes it was an illusion by the Sith). So in an attempt to fix that Yoda could have done the one thing that he knew could change the whole outcome of the war

Agreed, that would be awesome.

Anakin definitely deserved that title of Master, but even that was not good enough of a title for him, given all he went through. Nuff said. The Jedi feared Anakin because they all knew he was too powerful for them to handle. Palpatine only helped unlock more of Anakin’s potential, but abused that bond to exploit and dispose of him when that time came. Luckily Anakin got the last laugh when he achieved Force Ghost status and aided his children during the countless wars they fought post Episode 6.

Mace ignited his saber. "We grant you the rank of master."...APRIL FOOLS!!!!

Having Anakin and Padme lead the Galaxy in their respective roles would be the perfect end in an alternate universe where the PT was made first

Anakin having 2 other older more experienced Jedi being his peers and equals would be to great benefit for him. He would be able to gain more knowledge and wisdom from them and they him.

Yoda joining the force in this moment was probably a bad idea for palpatine.

This is a really good story, as you can see Anakins fast development as a Grandmaster and a adult. And having the 3 grandmaster rule is way better then 1. Keep up the awesome work!

Skywalker couln't help but smile, at long last his hardwork was recognized by his peers but what happened next turned his world upside down. "By decree of Grandmaster Yoda, on his passing, the role of Grandmaster falls on Jedi Master Anakin Skywalker. May the force be with us all." Anakin's eyes widened. Had Windu gone insane?! Not only was he a master, a council member but now he was leader of the order?! "What? There has to be a mistake." To everyone's surprised Anakin protested to this. "This is outragous. Its insane! How can I lead the order when I just have made the rank of Master?" "Master Skywalker." Plo Koon spoke, feeling the chaos in Anakin's mind. "This was Master's Yoda last request. He saw in you what many of us already know to be true. You are the chosen one. You will bring balance." Anakin shook his head. "No. No. I am not ready for this. I'm sorry." The Chosen One storm out. It was ironic however. Over the years Yoda had told him of various leaders he had met across the centuries. More often than not it was those who recognized their own faults that were more deserving of leadership. For a leader to lead, he most see himself in whole. It was Skywalker's self criticism that had seal the deal. He put his personal view and ambition aside for the sake of the order. "You chose well old friend." Windu said smilling. *Yo feel free to correct my spelling. Language barrier is strong in this one.*

Having two older and wiser/patient masters mixed with the more reckless/ambitious young gun makes a lot of sense actually.

My three suggestion are based upon my three Star Wars AO3 fanfics these being: 1) what is Jyn Erso survived Rogue one and went on to meet and fall in love with Luke Skywalker. 2) what if the Sith Empire returned during the High Republic era 3) what if Padme was forced to marry for the Republic I would also like to see a what if Cal and Merrin had a daughter just because I want to see a hybrid Jedi Nightsister and see what internal conflict that would bring.

I really like these what if series! I like how you take consideration of all the details of the characters and how they would react or do things.

And this would automatically give anakin access to the Restricted Section of the Jedi Archives were this ever to have Actually Happened

Obi-Wan was the only "heir apparent" after Dooku and Quigon's deaths and before Anakin in the line of Master Yoda, so choosing Anakin would be like choosing your 5th generation to become a person with so much power. I am curious in What if Obi-wan became Grand Master.

There isn't really a lineage in Grand Master. Realistically it would have been Windu who would take Yoda's place. Being Master of the Order puts him right under Yoda in the hierarchy.

With Anakin as grandmaster there would be some awesome changes to the Order ............. The younglings would be a hell of a lot more respectful ( and faster on their feet too . ) , Also the jedi would be more fun , and the temple guards would carry blasters .

Windu didnt like anakin but I mean he did have a point. Anakin showed extremely dark tendacy from young. Like slaughtering an entire group including woman and children. Mace was just the best judge of character.

I’m watching for the second time and what I like is that Palpatine killing Yoda so Windu who Anakin doesn’t like is in charge actually feels like something Palpatine would do.

What if Anakin was a reincarnation of Revan? What if Luke was a Mandalorian Foundling? What if Leia was taken to Tatooine and Luke to Alderaan instead, with Leia becoming a Jedi while Luke helped lead the Rebellion? What if Ahsoka decided to help the Mandalorian's more after meeting Din Djarin?

Honestly, this was so good, I subscribed and nearly forgot there was a lightsaber. Seriously good story and well executed. Force powers were not overblown, and the premise played out believably.

If the Council counted accomplishments throughout the Clone Wars towards Rank of Master Anakin would of been a grandmaster given his success rates as a General during the war

Great what if the Star Wars galaxy? do you believe on this what if Anakin Skywalker would reach his full potential? And fulfill the prophecy of the chosen one destined to bring balance to the force even more than what if. He was trained by qui gon jinn and if he reached his full potential in episode two

Hands down this is the best one you made.

What if Anakin Skywalker was born in the High Republic Era?

As fun as Fix-Its are, I think you forgot that with Grievous' location not being revealed by Palpatine he wouldn't have been found nearly as easily, and it's possible the Republic could have been overrun given that Palpatine wasn't allowing the separatists to use a large percentage of their forces in order to draw out the war.

I don't think he had the temperment to take over as GM. Not because he couldn't do the job, but because he liked being involved more directly in affairs, rather than directing them.

You know you've watched too many what if stories when you start dreaming up different scenarios/stories. Which is why I researched this one, lol. I agree that there needs to be a part two. Anakin may have brought a balance to the galaxy, but there's one thing he has to do yet, even if it takes a while...and that's being balance to the order. It would be interesting to see what kind of changes the 3 GrandMasters would bring about. Would they allow attachments? Maybe they'd allow attachments for masters? I imagine that you went in the direction of 3 GrandMasters to help center Anakin, yes? But what if the opposite is also true? Meaning Anakin's...aura (for lack of a better phrase) radiates and changes first Mace and trickles down through other Jedi? Oo, interesting thought - a few years in and the 3 GrandMasters blades change color, all to gold/yellow...signifying true balance - on that thought - would love to see a truly balanced Windu. We always see a stern Windu. What would a slightly optimistic (dare I say happy, hell even jovial?) Windu be like?

Even Yoda was struggling against those odds in the beginning , the sith got the drop on him right there 🔥

Day 9; What if; Anakin never gave into his feelings for Padme, Aayla Secura was the chosen one and became Darth Talon, Shme Skywalker was adopted by the Tusken Raiders, Boba Fett saved his Tusken family, Count Dooku was a regular count for the CIS, Jabba the Hutt supported the Jedi at the Start of the Clone Wars, and finally, what if Sabine and Ezra fell in love?

I really enjoyed this story! Please do a part 2 of Luke and Leia growing in this story and one of them encoutering the Mother and falling to the dark side.
