I have gathered most of the evidence for this theory: -Kakyoin and Koichi have similar student uniforms -Kakyoin's cousin Ryoko visited his grave in Morioh. (Crazy Diamond's Demonic Heartbreak is probably canon) If Kakyoin had no connection to Morioh, why would he be buried there? -Kakyoin isn't from Jotaro's hometown because nobody recognised him in the school

Well ur second point is mute because his death wasn’t in vain at all. Joseph did get the message and relay it to jotaro so he may have been afraid but it doesn’t matter cause that fear was misplaced. Big assumption on my part but I assume kakyoin must have told his parents something before disappearing for a whole month with a stranger. Like something about how this is important or something he needs to do.

The question is,Which universe?

I see Kakyoin as more of an analytical type character, only really using his stand when necessary. I see him more as someone who does scouting for where a stand could be, or gives details on stand abilities.

If Kakyoin was in part 4: He would have made best friends with both Josuke for their love for video games and Okuyasu for being MlLF chasers.

I would imagine him as a big brother to Josuke tbh.

My idea: Kakyoin is found and brought back to life by the Speedwagon Foundation, where he meets a doctor and his intern, who helped and cared for him. The doctor's intern helped him and was able to help him walk and live with fake organs, she provided him with things such as pain killers and things he cares about. She also told the surviving crusaders about their now alive friend. In between Part 3 and 4, Kakyoin appeared as Jotaro's best man during his and his wife's wedding. Kakyoin, himself, would marry the intern. During Part 4, Kakyoin became interested due to the fact that Josuke has a healing stand, which would heal his organs. He would also go to Tonio's, which would also help his organ problems. He would have also learned new methods involving Hierophant Green's abilities, such as variations of the Emerald Splash, shrinking down to prevent people from feeling pain by blocking the nerves that transfer pain, etc. After the events, Kakyoin would become a dentist, as well as a Speedwagon foundation employee.

I'd love to think that Kakyoin survives because of Caesar surviving, creating a running theme of side characters giving their lives for each other. Caesar using the last of all of his immense hamon to restore kakyoin, giving all that he has until he's left with barely a trace of hamon. He gives his life to save the young man, and then kakyoin goes on a quest to learn hamon from this.

Dude kakyoin was one of the perfect characters for part 4.

Kakyoin on the roof: ahhh im dying Random German doctor: oh hello there... Then kakyoin was revived. When he regains consciousness, Dio was trying to smash Jotaro with his road roller (in stopped time) but Dio misscalculated his time stop (so it ended 2-3 second earlier then he guess), and in the last moment kakyoin uses Emerald splash! Dio was suddenly flew away. That let Jotaro escape. And than Dio takes ORAORAORAORAORAORAPRAORAORAOROAORAOROA with EmERaLdo sPlasHio0. Dio is defeted... And then Diavolo just forgot how to go to the toilet, and dying because there are tooo many [___] in his body. And if you remember, if Diavolo died this is canon, so this is C A N O N)))

I think this could work if Kakyoin was very injured and couldn't help in many fights but played an informant and friend role to Jotaro. he could also probably come back in the final kira fight.

As long as Diavolo dies, this is technically canon.

Although, do you guys remember when Iggy and Avdol died, after polnareff defeated vanilla ice, you could see their spirits, that never happened with kakyoin, it even happened with Joseph but Joseph was revived by jotaro. Not to be a conspiracy theorist, but it is a bit strange how he didn't have a scene like that so that could feed into the "what if" also I'm too attached to kakyoin to accept his death (I'm aware that this video is 4 year old but it was on my recommended)

im sorry to tell you this but when they burned dio at the end of stardust crusaders it showed avdol, iggy, and kakyoin u in the sky, i think the reason kakyoins spirit didnt come out is because it would of ruined the pacing and the only one next to kakyoin was joseph and he was getting chased by dio.

@@craftiej3959 honestly Kakyoin should have survived instead of Joseph or Kakyoin's ghost should have told Jotaro to calm down instead.

Kakyoin I think might clash with Josuke at first as he tries to speak with him, talking about how he admires his father and how he considers him one of his closest friends. Josuke's initial reluctance to talk about him, considering the trouble around the issue, might set Kakyoin off and eventually it'll be revealed that Josuke was ill around the time of the trip to Egypt (Perhaps through Josuke angrily wondering why he never bothered to check in on him and learned just what he went through). Remembering Jotaro's mom/Josuke's half-sister he'd quickly make the connection to the trip to Josuke's illness when he was younger and inform him that Joseph would have also been fighting to save Josuke. This may well have affected Josuke's development toward Joseph and even Jotaro, perhaps making him embrace his heritage a little more. After this, Josuke and Kakyoin would find it easier to bond and the two would be great friends by the end as Josuke shares the feeling of fighting alongside the team that effectively saved his life.

fun fact: fan made comics from the community actually draw kakyoin (in part 4) with leg braces cause his legs were mostly broken

I feel like Kakyoin in Part 4 would probably be similar to Polnareff in Part 5, in which he doesn’t fight much anymore due to his injuries from DIO. He probably would have to be helped around by Jotaro to get around as his spine was obliterated. Kakyoin’s role in the story would probably be similar to Rohan’s where they both help find Kira.

xForts, when I started watching Jojo I saw this video, and I thought the title was "Kakyoin In part 4". I thought Kakyoin was going to survive for the next part and I was so excited because he was my favorite crusader. And then I fucking saw him get turned into a donut. This was 4 years ago.

If kakyoin was in part 4 he would have given Josukes mom the emerald splash.
