Yeah, I've been saying for years that there's NO NEED for a "Pantheon of Chaos" or a "Pantheon of the Void". "Pantheon" is antithetical to chaotic organizations. The closest we got to a Pantheon of Chaos was Sargeras, with Archimonde and Kil'jaeden as generals.

Warhammer 40k or otherwise have "Chaos" Gods and these gods are some of the most fked up demented chaotic beings. Yet are still a pantheon if you will or at the very least have a structure. Do the other forces need a pantheon? No but just because a force is "chaotic" dsnt mean they cannot be structured. The Joker is still the boss of his own crew lmao.

Your idea about Eonar being like a “trophy wife”, a better analogy would be like Freya being forced into a marriage with Odin after the war between aesir and vanir, which would just be yet another parallel

The Arcan'dor So, there's an additional connection to be made here which supports the Eonar theory. In Legion, in the Suramar zone, the Arcan'dor is a magical tree that feeds on ley (arcane) energy and uses nature magic to bring that arcane energy into balance. Where was the first Arcan'dor? In a temple to Elune. Nature Magic, LIFE magic being used to tame, and restrain Arcane magic i.e. Order. Now here's a juicy detail. What happens when an Arcan'dor fails? The Fal'dorei. Nerubians basically. So, Eonar planted a tree. Why? Because trees can restrain arcane energy. It's the same reason Nordrassil was planted over the second well of eternity. Elune, the goddess of balance, showed or taught Eonar, just like she showed those nightborne, that trees can bring balance to arcane. It doesn't make complete sense that Eonar planted an important tree just out of love for a family member. It's Elune's plan to defend Azeroth by limiting the effect of Arcane energy on it. When Aman'thul pulls out the tree, destroying it, BOOM nerubians, qiraji, or aqir, klaxxi, whatever. Same as the Fal'dorei. Why would Amanthul pull out the tree? Because its restraining arcane magic, it's feeding off it. It's turning order into chaos.

Remember that the wiki also states this about Night Elves: "The former trolls also discovered the name "Kalimdor" and other titan-forged words from communing with Elune and investigating strange artifacts scattered around the Well's periphery." I'm convinced now that Night Elves have used (and perhaps abused) Titan artifacts until recently. As in, until the War of the Ancients. I'm wondering if the "other reason" that Sargeras took such interest in Azshara NOT because she was the queen of elves but because her arcane magic usage was founded in her use of Titan magic especially their arcane magic. That, originally, Sargeras was tasked to investigate and capture back the technology. I wonder now also if the things she was doing was a mini-Ordering effort. We're told she was born with golden eyes, and so was Illidan. Maybe this was the secret use of Titan artifacts during birth of elven children. To prolong their lives. To make them immortal (which they seemingly, for supposed unexplained reason lost later). The jeweled sceptre that Azshara was given by Xavius could have been an Ordering tool of some sort. It had sigils on it. I wonder if they'd be similar to those of the Titan Ordering magic or maybe what we see on Xal'atath's face??? I guess we'll find out as part of "finding out what secrets the TItans have been keeping." Also, in case you go "no way" ask yourself this... WHY would the dragons see a need to abandon their home, the Dragon Isles, and come to aide SPECIFICALLY the Night Elves in the War of the Ancients that they saw happening in the distance. WHO told them to go? Certainly not Alexstrasza who sounded like she was obeying a command given to her. She and the other dragons go after Tyr switches off the barrier to keep THEM from venturing out into the world of the mortals, then he switches it back on and switches on the mechanism that makes them forget that the Dragon Isles exist. This happened 10,000 years ago. At the same time also when Pandaria gets shrouded by mist, which was a side effect and the hubris of the Emperor made him think he did it. The technology is what had caused the TImeless Isle. When the mist got erased that was likely also causing the "reset" of the master control on the Dragon Isles to happen. The reset is also what "rebooted" the mission statement in the dragons, extinguishing their eyes, and only when we got the rebooted system fixed it restarted them, but as the original Titan command got disabled the system tapped into the nearest thing it thought was a Titan, meaning Azeroth, via the giant tether that was placed into the world. I've been fascinated by the "machinations" on the world (notably the Engine of the Makers) since WotLK. In the video, you mentioned Un'goro Crater. I think C'Thun and the Qiraji, during the War of the Shifting Sands, destroyed the fourth southern Pillar that would have represented Life. One time when I went to the Chamber of the Heart, the game bugged for me and still was showing me on the world map and placed me at the location of the volcano in the centre of this zone. I believe the Chambre of the Heart is underneath the volcano, as the "heart" is considered biologically the hottest part of the body, aka the "428,000 Krakenheit" quest that existed is a clue in game. The beams from the three remaining Pillars all point towards the volcano, feeding energy into the chambre. They switch off because one "plug" is missing. So no, Sargeras didn't stab her in the heart. He stabbed her in the spine and therefore severed the artificial connection that she was put into (a life support to keep her in an artificial coma if you will). Btw, when doing the Antorus raid I was looking at the vista of Azeroth before starting. I was curious why the cloud that Sargeras is representing seemed so protectively enveloping the planet. Almost like the parts NOT YET cleansed of Titan influence are being shielded and "the cleansed parts" are exposed. Because where did his hand land when stabbing the sword in... I would assume he used his Titan force to force the engine on the Dragon Isles to come to life and his "Noooo" was that he thought he didn't succeed in his final task before being recaptured. Btw, why would the dude ever say "We must gather our strength" for an eternal prison with Sargeras and Illidan bickering. I'm convinced they're going to come back, and if the Night Elves don't decide on their allegiances (and the same with the dragons) they may well be fighting on the wrong side. Alleria will have her work cut out to convince us all to join her and Xal'atath...

One aspect I've liked to think about is the literary inspirations for Warcraft itself. A lot of it is, sensibly and very clearly, taken from fantasy books that Metzen without a doubt read. Memory, Sorrow and Thorn being one of the easiest to point to, with its direct and clear parallels to Arthas. With that in mind, the idea of cycles is also without a doubt, taken from Wheel of Time. And considering how Wheel of Time works, Warcraft is by default, and from the start, canonical to the idea of the Wheel of Time. In that case, who is analogous to who? Most importantly, who is Rand? Who is the one that is the most important to the weave of these cycles, the one that sticks out and the one that is most likely to be the one to influence that cycle? My money is on Illidan.

Honestly, the way the cosmology is shaped up and with the need for "order" by the Titans, this whole setup reminds me of Alchemy. The Male Sun, Primordial Man...the Feminine Moon...and the the Blue Child of Cobalt...it feels like even now, with Eonar gone, his presence has to be there so that the established order remains. What better way to deal with him than using him as/on the Sun, to be able to invoke him through other means by calling on a proxy? It even would explain the ties between light and void: In alchemy, all came from the void. The light and gold represent the highest end-point of Alchemy (Philospher's stone/Primordial Man/Self-Perfection), but to really get the outer and inner reward...you must make oen with the void. For only if you incorporate the void, can you (re-)create the void and thus all of existence. By that viewpoint we'd even have some Gnosticism here, with the Titans as Demiurge(s) who hide the Gnosis/True God (Eonar) from the mortals.

I've begun to feel that the Life goddesses act similar to the Bene Gesserit from Dune. They are a league of their own but consort with other "houses", or forces, in order to ensure their ulterior motive comes to fruition. With the Bene Gesserit it was to eventually give birth to their messiah, but for Life, it is to perpetuate life so that it'll eventually overwhelm all realms.

I'm fairly certain what will happen with Murozond will be that it turns out in keeping him from happening, occurences will transpire so that in the end the void will invade via the Dark Heart. Because I think in the main timeline we do in fact stop Iridikron from interfering with the timeline. I choose not to call the Infinites medling with time as interfering, as they are twisted versions of the rime keepers. In a way one can say they still keep time after they became such, but more inadvertently. So when Iridikron says: "Why do you think the Titans wish to preserve THIS timeline", and "They only care about this world", he is both saying clearly what his plan is, and sets up the two future expansions. If its a bit unclear still from my rambling, take this hot take from the recent cinematic from 10.2.5 where he mingles with Vyranoth: "I trust it's hunger." That is refeing to the void, which it makes it clear to be as he is using towards his ends of getting revenge on the Titans. If we take all his words as true, the Titans WILL return to hinder the world from falling into the voids hands. But Iridikron will be waiting for them. Who then will be left to help us win against the void? I think that name drop already is in the final expansion of the world soul saga; The Final Titan. What if this is all about Sargeras' redemption? I do also believe then he will sacrifice himself to give life to Azeroth in a way. How will he arrive at this conclusion? Remember we have Illidan keeping watch over him. I'm completely convinced we will be getting cutscenes where we see Illidan and Sargeras talking. I can imagine Illidan breaking Sargeras' chains and Sargeras rushing to confront whatever will be the final moment, or the true hour of twilight so to speak. I am probably wrong about everything here but I really like to speculate on this, so I don’t mind anybody breaking my theory, I welcome the discussion !!

The planet in the art for “A Thousand Years of War” literally IS Draenor, if you upscale the side-by-side and look at the slight outline of the continents, it is Draenor. The tip of Tanaan Jungle is facing directly “up” in the sphere’s upper-middle area, and you can see Gorgrond and Shadowmoon Valley on either side of it. I was really unsure about this idea of Outland and Draenor not being the exact same plact in different times (or timelines) but this has me fr. You’re right!

A few additional thoughts to consider and add to this theory that I haven't seen mentioned anywhere! Let's accept that Eonar is working against the pantheon, which she joined to ensure they protected life in their work, further that the old gods were offshoots of Eonar's work against the ordering of Azeroth, an introduction of chaos, of limitless possibilities and that any of the old gods actions in recent times would have been in line with Eonar's goals. Let's accept that the Winter Queen, Eonar and Elune are three 'sisters' as part of the great cycle. In shadowlands we are told that Elune allowed Teldrassil to burn to provide souls to the Winter Queen (not aware of primus's plans, in league with Aman'Thul, which results in the souls going to the maw). These rescued souls offer their anima to fuel the new world tree. The world tree is planted in the Dream and when it blooms, it empowers the aspects with Azeroth's power. GREAT! Why were the dragons able to re-accept aspectral powers? Because they sacrificed their ORDER BASED aspectral powers to defeat Deathwing. Why was Deathwing corrupted? Because N'zoth (to keep it simple). So this means that Eonar engineered a means by which she could purge the ordering of the dragon aspects and then empower them to aspects again through her the shared magic of Elune (tear), the Winter Queen (souls/anima) and herself (Emerald Dream)! In the Tyr's memory questline, he showcases how each of his darling dragon aspects would betray him, ALL of which have so far in game except for Alexstrasza (because technically Murryboi does exist, maybe?), who might have just been empowered by the enemies of Order and its not a stretch to foresee a conflict arise between her and Tyr in the near future! The whole purge and reconstruct theme was played out in Starcraft 2 which had Kerrigan purged of her bad overmind zerg essence and then she had to reforge herself as a true zerg in order to absorb the essence of the last Xel'naga, allowing her to become Xel'naga and ultimately defeat the bad Xel'naga and allow the cycle of the universe to start again, which he was trying to break. There are alot of commonalities between these stories!!

All three would create the First One of Balance. Also I think I figured out why they called Elune an "upstart" goddess; she literally upstarts and selects a new Night Warrior. The night warriors always become leaders of their peers. LOL Just remember Fractals!

A question about the "Outland is outside reality" bit, if that's the case, you're suggesting that the moment Draenor became Outland in 10k years of war was when it was shunted out of reality and Alt Draenor was created? If Outland is outside reality and we can still go there, what does that mean for us? Thrall lived in hiding in Nagrand with his wife and kids until Saurfang went out to find him and that's evidence enough that travel to Outland is possible and arguably regular, so I'm not so sure about the idea that Alt Draenor is "Draenor that's inside reality" and Outland is literally outside reality and floating in the twisting nether. Why would the Titans allow us to access that world or ANY world that could allow us to observe the snowglobe from the outside? Especially though the means of arcane spells, teleportation and portals. Either "Reality as the plane of order" is MUCH bigger than we surmise or the titans only have a tight leash on Azeroth herself and the rest of the celestial bodies, the emerald dream, and the shadowlands, simply fell into place on their own because their touch changed those realities JUST ENOUGH for them to order themselves without the need of direct intevention. And don't even get me started on "The First Ones."

Dude, this thing about Azeroth having been imprisoned in the plane of order (or at least in the context of Order) can make a lot of sense. Let's go back to Argus pre-fight cinematic, when Sargeras adresses the pantheon: "That which you have stolen will be your undoing." What if he's not talking about Argus? He does mention Argus and then the fight starts, but what if those two sentences are disconnected? What if the first sentence references AZEROTH - What if Aman'thul STOLE AZEROTH? And I said this elsewhere, and numerous other people might have as well - Sargeras plunging the sword was never about *killing* Azeroth, it was about breaking open her prison. He sics Argus on the pantheon (and us) to buy himself time to try to break her prison. The prison that Sylvanas alluded to. Sylvanas didn't "break the prison" when she shattered the helm, she (and Zovaal) were in cahoots to fulfill Sargeras' plan of freeing Azeroth. And remember how they've both more or less said that breaking this prison was necessary to end "the cycle"? Zovaal, being of Death, saw the cycle as a perversion (because no "real" death ever happens within it, it's an endless feedback loop). He eventually saw the end-game of those who made the cycle. So they locked him away. Remember the kyrian dialogue when Anduin attacks while dominated? Zovaal tells whatsherface "He is bound to me **just like you once sought to bind your brother**", implying as you've said in earlier videos, that the Eternal Ones didn't just put him in prison - they Dominated him. Or at least the primus did. But why would he say this, if the primus is the big bad voodoo all by his lonesome and the other Eternals are "pure"? Why would the primus make Zovaal hint at his own involvement? Open question. Anyway - keep in mind that the Void wanted Alleria to kill Sylvanas, because Sylvanas wants to end "all possibilities". We'll get back to these possibilities, for now let's do a recap: Sargeras wants to free Azeroth. The primus wants to free Azeroth (or so I speculate). The titans want to keep Azeroth imprisoned. I don't think the primus and the titans are aligned, even though Order and Domination might seem like two sides of the same coin; because Order is bound to preserve life, while Domination has no such binding - it's Death-aligned. The primus made Domination magic, but what also exists in Maldraxxus? Liches and necromancy and flesh golems. I don't think Sargeras is going to be the Illidan arc all over again, I think Sargeras and the primus are truly going to be the baddies. The duplicity of the titans will turn out to have been a red herring - they *are* the good guys. Or at least good-ish guys. The conspiracy will be in some small part about how they stole credit from the Black Empire for somethings, but the ultimate essence of it is going to be centered around the Light and the Primus being aligned with Sargeras to unleash Azeroth's chaos. Remember the overgrown planets we see during Star Augur? And the Evergrowth? That is Life unchecked - Life in the absence of Order. Life as Chaos. Life *is* chaos - even the Titans think so! In "Edicts of the Prime Designate": "Remember: Life is chaos. It must be controlled." That is the destiny Azeroth will visit upon us if the prison breaks. That's why, in the Argus raid, the only titanic "realm" we go to fight off the Burning Legion is Elunaria - Sargeras wants to erase Eonar's influence and control over it. You heard it here: Azeroth is a Void Lord. There's N'Zoth's latest whispers: "Her dreams sing beneath the surface. Our dreams. Our song." There's the appearance of all the old gods, and Garrosh in SOO: doesn't that look like "chaotic growth" - life unchecked? It was the old gods who rendered the gift of flesh, after all. The prime designate more or less says that plenty of "wondrous creations" were not of titan origin, but rather that the titans "ordered" them. During Star Augur, the overgrown planet looks AWFULLY shadowy. Speaking of Star Augur, who along with the rest of Nighthold's host have been empowered by Sargeras - odd that he has all these void-related abilities, no? And this "Thing That Should Not Be"? An existence, a life, an evolution, that shouldn't be possible? Seems like the epitome of "life unchecked". Or is she? No. Azeroth is the seventh force of the cosmos, as mentioned in the expedition reports of the brokers. The brokers speculate, and I'm paraphrasing here, that the forces of the cosmos are vying to claim "the potential of mortal souls". That's what the great cycle is, after all - harvesting anima from mortals! But they also speculate that the seventh force would also vy for this potential. We talked earlier about how the void wanted Sylvanas out of the way because Sylvanas sought to "end all possibilities". Sylvanas wants to "break the prison" and unleash the seventh force, which will destroy the cycle (presumably because the seventh force is of such power that it will upend everything). This ends all possibilities, as the six forces of the cosmos depend on the cycle for their own power. Let's think back to some more Old God whispers. But first a preamble: Xe'ra tried to cleanse Illidan (who, if straying from his journey, might also stray from keeping Sargeras in check - and Sargeras would return to freeing Azeroth). When she failed, Turalyon the Lightforged tried to finish the job. And who is it that whispers to Anduin, whom he is reluctant to come to the aid of? "The Light has made a pact with the enemy of all." The Light is trying to help Sargeras break loose. The Light *wants* the prison to break. AZEROTH IS THE ENEMY OF ALL (at least in some sense). And N'Zoth was one of the few to see this (outside of the titans), possibly Zovaal being the only other.

At the end of the final Tomb of Sargeras cinematic, after Illidan used the keystone to open the "portal" back to Azeroth from the Twisiting Nether, everyone is back in Azuna looking up at the sky at the "portal", but what if that keystone actually dropped the reality barrier showing us the "True Outside"?

This talk of cycles made me think of a line said by, Mindbender Ghur'sha, the 3rd boss in Throne of Tides. It says "They are outside the cycle..." when killed. What could this mean? What cycle could it be talking about? Being that its species serve alongside naga most of the time and that they're servants of the Old Gods, they're obviously talking about something cosmic. This one in particular is likely working for N'zoth. Is the cycle it mentions time? Or something we don't know about? It could also be a throw away line, but what a weird line to *make* a throwaway. EDIT: Just got to the talk of breaking cycles. What if that's what Ghur'sha means? If we, our player characters, are outside the 'cycle', maybe we're the only ones who can break it. Not even Sargeras or could do it, but maybe we can?

So i know we kinda stuck onto the norse, and greek mythology tho i think we can leave it for a moment. But you mentioned something that reminded me of hindu mythology which could prolly connect to the emerald dream and Azeroth. It is very on the nose but if the shoe fits.. So in hindu mythos the god vishnu is enterally asleep. We as beings and life are their dream. Once they wake who know what happens to life. Do we cease to exist or does just like change when their eyes are open. A lot of interesting story telling like to take from multiple mythos and smash them together in interesting ways and vishnu tends to be one i see pop up alot.

Mimir-on. Mimir's Wiki: Renowned for his knowledge and wisdom, who is beheaded during the Æsir-Vanir War. Afterward, the god Odin carries around Mímir's head and it recites secret knowledge and counsel to him. Mimiron is in a robot form because he was "assassinated" by Loken, his war buddy against Neptulon, aften Loken "accidently" killed Sif. He was put back together by his creations, the mechagnomes, who put his SPIRIT in a MACHINE. And to quote Warcraft Chronicles and Exploring Azeroth: Northrend, "He has not been completely sane since." Mimiron experimented with Kaja'mite, wouldn't surprise me its why he's not sane, plus his whole body is made from, well, Azerothian metals and components now. Well, sane from an Order point of view. Keep an eye open for that Goblin raid, because I can't wait to know what Kajamite is. As soon as we know that, I think it's fair to consider the true side Mimiron's fighting for. Odyn's Wowwiki : He is stated to follow the Light by the Bronzebeard brothers, with his Val'kyr shieldmaidens being referred to as warriors of the Light. Can't wait to see Odyn in The Last Titan carrying Mimiron's head and fighting for the true, unordered Light (And it seems like Sargeras was too). He was right all along, no wonder he's pissed. Odyn was imbued by Aman'thul and Mimiron by Norgannon. Now, I don't know where Thorim and Hodir (Golganneth) fits, and I have a feeling Loken might rise from the dead (Just look at Mimiron's story, both of them battled together, Loken could go into a machine too just looking at... XT-002 Deconstructor. What/Who is it and why it considers Mimiron as its father? Sure, Mimiron created it, but no one knows how the hell its able to speak and have its own personality. XT is a weird case. It is ordered, that's for sure, since it came to be from a Keeper. But it isn't alive like, flesh alive. Is it an AI? And then, is it really alive? It seems to feel emotions if it considers Mimiron as its father. Because at what point XT was that different than us? Are we AI too? ARE WE IN THE MATRIX? WHERE'S THE PILL, MORPHEUS! Sargeras the Youth (Warrior), Aman'thul the Father and Norgannon the Sage. Forming the Horned God. Elune the Maiden, Eonar the Mother and The Winter Queen the Crone, the Three Godesses. Now, let's see which Keepers are needed to open Yogg's prison. Mimiron - Norgannon Freya - Eonar Hodir and Thorim - Golganneth So, no Aman'thul? No Odyn or Ra? Why Golganneth has 2 Keepers instead? We're talking about Yogg Saron here, the God of Death. Aman'thul killed Y'shaarj. Is he really about Order at this point? And... I mean, look at Aman'thul's Keepers. Odyn and Ra. Those two aren't screaming Order at all. Odyn was betrayed and EMPRISONED, Ra was depressed and left the Mogu to themselves... Freeing them, in a way. Aman'thul is not Order, yet he's sitting on the Throne. He's sometime depicted with YELLOW eyes, sometimes with BLUE eyes. You know, Blue, like Domination blue. But who else have this Yellow/Blue duality? Is Aman'thul really a baddy, or just, maybe... A twin? An echo? A clone, even? Time itself dominated. An endless loop. And with Eonar's crown and her "It is time" to a YELLOWED eyes Aman'thul might be a puppet manipulating another puppet. It goes so freaking deep, I'm sus of Norgannon and Golganneth at this point, but mostly Norgannon. Because I'm a Gnome player, and I hope we're the powerful baddies creation in the end and destroy everything for those years of oppression.

Hello... Very wild guess from my part, what if when the Titans found out about Azeroth raw powers within a other dimension (maybe Life), they wanted to "import" that power to their own dimension and to do so build those rings around Azeroth to Anchor her within a poker dimension that simulate the life dimension? And so isolate her, witch is similar to emprisonement? Maybe the other worlds with those rings are keep around the same way, the same that they keep their prisoners and trophies within rings...

@@Pyromancer oooh... the great "Titan Conspiracy" could be that Titan's aren't born from World Souls that have planets coalesce around them, but rather the Titans imprisoned World Souls (Azeroth and Argus) within planets in order to control them. The entire story of the Titans "stumbling across Azeroth, floating out in the middle of nowhere" would be an outright LIE. Maybe... Sargeras went off to fight the Demons because Aman'thul told him the demons abducted Azeroth. Then, some time later, Aman'thul is all "we found her - she's got her head stuck in this planet over here." But, the Nathrezim were all "bruh..." and then Sargeras was like "bruh..." and busts his homies out of the slam and they're all like "bruh..." and everyone gets strapped-up and goes on a Burning Crusade to rescue Azeroth from Aman'thul's "step-bro what are you doing?" porn-shoot. Because "family".
