As he should lol. I think that was intentional on his part honestly. Because whoever named them definitely was fucking around for shits & giggles.
Iceland is the smaller one… Greenland is the bigger one

I can bet he intentionally referred to Greenland as Iceland. It's a long standing joke given how they're actually the opposite of their respective names.

The guy is a joke, he makes mistakes like this every week. He ALWAYS uses kilometers squared when it really should be square kilometers. The last video 'Investigating The 44 Landlocked Countries' is worth watching just to see how many errors he made.
Greenlands heating would be slow at the beginning due to the snow reflecting most of that heat with time the heating accelerates and Greenland will experience Isostatic rebound. The landscape might be similar to Canada or Scandinavia today but all the lakes will eventually dry out and it would be a desert. If Greenland can actually capitalize on its recourses it might end up getting very wealthy
This video should be titled what if Australia and Greenland swapped places, but can you make a video about Australia and Iceland swapped places.
Greenland would lose its ice but how long would it take Australia to develop glaciers? Sea levels would initially rise because Greenlands glaciers would melt faster than Australia would gain new ones, but I think that Australia's glaciers would eventually be larger than Greenland has now, resulting in an eventual drop in sea level.
Title has an error
Dawg what’s that title
title says iceland instead of greenland bae
Come on guys it’s a simple typo. We all know he meant what if you switch Iceland and Austria!!!! (But I know someone who’s getting and atlas for Christmas this year…)

Bro..... If Greenland ice melts, Australia will freeze over. There is no logic behind rise in sea level

It would probably take longer for the ice to build up in the newly positioned Australia than it would to melt in Greenland. But eventually it might lower sea levels since Australia is so much bigger

This was exactly the point I was going to add. Australia’s larger size, over time, would accumulate glaciers possibly twice the size of Greenland’s, and result in Lower sea levels.

This is all just baloney talk ..unfortunately kids watch this and believe this will happen anyway because of the intense brainwashing they are getting at school ...and the great barrier reef is in great shape ..all fear porn
People in Australia don’t have to hang upside-down anymore.
Poor Iceland. First it gets mistaken for Greenland, and then it gets flattened by Australia. 😢
i like to see how the oceanic and atmospheric changes happened and what they would cause.. if those switched places.
If Greenland took the place of Oz it would also take it's weather and it's place on the map. It would be growing grain as well.
You're only looking at one side. You see land disappearing but forget it's taken over by Oz. In that position, Oz would be a very different place.
The sea level would drop significantly after time because Australia is 3 times the size of Greenland and of course, would be covered in ice
Greenland would definitely benefit from this change. It would be much easier for them to attain more independence from denmark or even completely become their own nation. The warmer climate would although shrink their territory as much of Greenland is just ice, the amount of usable and habitable land currently in Greenland is far smaller than what the island would end up with after this swap. Greenland would have access to cheap and plentiful supplies of food and pretty much everything they need from South-East Asia as well.
The sea level would deffinetly lower because it will accumulate in bigger Australia. So that woild maby cause a new ice age.
True that is Iceland 😅
*confused screaming*
If Greenland and Australia swapped places then all Greenland ice will melt thus increasing global sea levels but ice sheet will start forming in Australia and since Australia is so big then I think gradually sea levels will fall sharply because now three times more water will be taken away to form the Australian icesheet.
What if South America and Africa switched places would be a cool idea.
Swap New Zealand and Iceland please
Australia is not remote. It is far closer to the Valeriepieris circle tha Europe; South America, Africa and most of North America.
Iceland and Greenland 😂

@@greatpyramid4348 Because the narrator first named the video as Iceland instead of Greenland, but changed the title later.
The Southern part of Australia should still have a relatively livable climate, but those poor Darwinians and Queenslanders will certainly be upset. I imagine that Europe in general would also get a fair bit colder with all that freezing cold land mass to their north-west replacing the relatively warm North Atlantic Ocean. Greenland's natural environment would certainly be decimated, but the warmer climate would certainly provide it's people with some interesting new economic opportunities.
Wrong country in title bro😳😊
Yeah, confusing Greenland and Iceland renders the rest of your video moot.
Bit of a joke I think, like the Bible. You could be led to believe anything at a pinch. 😆🤣😂🙃

If Australia was where Greenland is, an enormous ice sheet would develop on it, LOWERING sea levels worldwide as it would be larger than the current one on Greenland.
