also timmy and tommy can whack other fighters with a vaulting pole. will also have a slingshot and a net like isabelle and villager. also maybe hit other fighters with the ladder. Also wrap fighters with wrapping paper maybe to make a fighter paralyzed for a bit.

Hector isn’t a villain lmao, he’s one of the 3 main protagonists alongside Lyn in their game, FE Blazing Sword or FE7. Maybe you confused him with black knight or something lol

I am overly surprised we don’t have at least 3 sonic reps yet, let alone 2. Just Sonic representing his series with that moveset and with the stages he has shows once again that the music is the saving grace here. If the next game shows up to be bigger and better than Ultimate, which I doubt, Tails and Eggman should be in imo

Tom Nook isn't a villain. He gives you a home loan with 0% interest. The real villain is Redd, who tries to sell you fake art. It's also believed that he cheated Tom Nook in a past business deal

In regards to the other "villain," if you wanted to include a unique moveset FE villain, Lloyd from FE7 would be a great pick, and would be a light sword user like Lyn. If a sword user is off the table, Linus would be a good pick for an axe fighter.

I think that for the Zelda series, they should've changed young link. It's a great character, but we already have 2 other links, so I would've made him into his majora's mask version. Instead of the usual arrows and stuff, he could use the masks's transformations as his specials, or like monado arts where he transforms for a limited amount of time to change how he acts. He also could have a different final smash, either using the fierce deity mask or something with the four giants or one of the ocarina songs

I don't see anyway that could fit without making him ridiculously small relative to other fighters. Not that they're accurately scaled as is, but... he'd *feel* wrong. A boss fight makes more sense.

I love the miis the ability to customize your own fighter is pretty fun and all three miis cover three of the most common arquetypes! But I think it would be neat to add another! How bout a grappler, or a pseudo heavyweight kinda like doctor Mario or Ike. But yeah there isn’t really much to talk about.

Imagine if they gave Black Shadow Ganondorf’s moveset and gave Ganondorf a moveset that actually represented him

personally i think Ganondorf could simply change a few particular specials and be given a levitate like Peach to be encompasing of his various strategies. sword, magic, but also raw strength. i think Black Shadow could work as an echo of Captain Falcon but with a few traits taken from Ganon to make him more brutal and villainous, like the warlock punch animation or forward air (since the knee of justice is Falcon's lol)

@@RacingSnails64 I'm of a similar mindset. Not all of Ganondorf's moves need to be replaced (I mean, just like Captain Falcon's moves, they're all pretty common close combat fighting techniques). But I'd say at least half of his special moves need to be replaced. His Up-B needs to be expunged from Smash Bros ASAP. Like, burn that move in holy fire because I frickin hate Ganondorf's recovery so much. His Neutral-B is the second most replaceable move in my opinion. I know people love it for how flashy and satisfying it is, but just give Black Shadow it. Wizard's Foot is also pretty fun, but fast and useful too whilst still remaining powerful. I wouldn't mind if Ganondorf kept it but it could also be replaced with enough creativity. The only special move I would definitely keep is his Side-B. It's actually kinda unique to Ganondorf and really feels like something he'd use in a fight in the Legend of Zelda. It's the only move he has that truly feels like a distinctive, defining, fitting Ganondorf move.

@@trueblade3636 Lyn in the game would be horrible. She'd play exactly like Marth would, is completely uninteresting as a character and is yet again a sword user. Even from her own game, there's 2 better options (of which only one would work imo, though he's not getting in for sure either; Hector) Other better pics would be Ephraim, Dimitri/Edelgard, or pretty much any FE Main character honestly. And I know you said "instead of chrom", but even if we assume chrom never got in and another fe character did (as the 4th marth), even then Lyn would be a horrible candidate. (And yet again, there would be a character from her own game that'd do the job better, despure being pretty dull and having a far too similar design to Roy to work: Eliwood, Roy's father)

@@Timmio. sorry to break it up to u but Lynn doesnt use a normal standard sword, she uses a rapier so the attacks could be completely different if sakurai really added her into the game, usually Marths moveset consists of slashing for example while Lynn would be more thrusting attacks, directly attacking and smaller hitboxes which could be fixed by making her a fast character to combo with or just make her deal a good amount of damage

@@danielwarrior1032 she wouldn't use her mani katti in smash. Marth doesn't use his standard rapier, neither does Roy. Ime doesn't use his regal sword either. Pretty much every lord comes with an effective weapon against cavalry and knights. Lyn would most likely get her Sol Katti (special weapon from the endgame). And even IF she got the rapier. That'd just mean she'd get Marth's tipper over Roy's hilt. And even if you make her moveset a little different. It will just be a remixed Marth that shared about 80% of his moveset + it doesn't fix the other problems like her being not even being a good rep to her own game

@@Timmio. Depends on what you'd give her, again. As I recall, she's actually a Blade Lord, which means she'd also wield a bow, assuming they were willing to stretch that far. I really wish that the Fire Emblem characters in Smash represented their promoted classes more than just their base classes. Would make it far more interesting. We'd at least get to see some mounts, some lances, some axes, more than we just see normally.

I know you considered Anna for fe, but I think that she would be the best choice by far, mainly because she could easily have the most unique moveset of all depending on how you incorporate her other iterations, since you could give her pretty much any weapon from the series and she would have used it.

omg I just thought of this... so Dr. Wily's losing animation could be him begging for forgiveness like he does when Mega Man defeats him.

@@beckyg1423 not at all. the FE part might be a joke, considering how the series is treated in this video. hector might actually rival lyn in the popularity department. he is generally considered more useful than lyn in gameplay (growths gravitate towards attack and defense, meaning he can always dish out and take damage. meanwhile, lyns specialty in skill and speed means she always hits, and always attacks twice, but suffers from the rest of the stats being rather middling and a terrible weapon selection in swords and bows. meanwhile, axe usage means hector can utilize handaxes, giving him the 1-2 range lyn lacks), his personality as a blunt and informal, but well meaning person is well liked, and he does not suffer from the overexposure problem lyn has. also, considering swordfighters have a sour repuation in the smash fanbase, while there is not yet an axe fighter, hector seems like a safer choice also, even if you only know hector through FE heroes, he is still very popular there, due to every single one of his variations being consistently high tier and highly resistant to power creep, a feat lyn cannot boast about said a lot more than i thought i would. i guess i am just passionate about this

Getting what is basically if not straight up and echo for snake when Raiden exists is pretty crazy. Not only is he there but the are all kinds of antagonists in metal gear with crazy ass powers that would be dope as hell. You forgot all about psychomantis, Armstrong, gray fox, the boss, skullface. I just think that you probably aren't as well versed in the games maybe but there's plenty of characters that are incredibly memorable.

Oh yeah, I'd never thought about how Yoshi didn't have a villain. I thought they'd gotten all the big villains in after K. Man Hector sure is a nasty villain, not like he's Elliwood's bro for life or anything

For the Sonic series, while Tails is a solid pick for a neaw fighter and Shadow's the most likely echo, I personally would LOVE to see Metal Sonic. Not as an echo, but as his own character. He has unique abilities and would fill in a villain role. I can also see his final smash 100% being Metal Overlord/Metal Madness if he was added

I know Ashley is the obvious choice, but another great contender would be Kat and Ana, while not as popular as Ashley, they are one of the og characters which helps them a lot and having another character having the duo mechanic would be super cool, and even if the duo mechanic can't work that well on them, they can just be alternate costumes with their Mega Party Games Colors as their alts, and while they are a sword character, keep in mind that they are ninjas, and they have plenty of references that can make them more unique compared to other sword characters and other ninja characters.

I want Octoling so they have an excuse to put "Fly Octo Fly" in the game.

Octoling as a semi-clone could work really well. Neutral Special would be the Splat Dualies. Has shorter range that the Splattershot, but deals more damage. (I would say Octo Splattershot, but I’m going with a semi-clone build rather than an echo fighter) Side Special could be the Splat Charger as a long-range attack. The longer it’s charged is the longer the range and the more the damage. Down Special could be a Suction Bomb, in which is takes up more ink than the Splat Bomb but has a bigger hurtbox radius and deals more damage, and maybe even takes longer to detonate if it doesn’t come into contact with an opponent. Up Special would be a Super Jump like Inkling. There’s not much to do here. Aerials would be very similar to Inkling, perhaps change them up a little. Jabs would also be similar. Side Smash is the Oct Brush. Has a bigger hurtbox, but deals less damage. Down Smash could be the Octoling throwing two Burst Bombs on each side of it at the same time, also consumes more ink than the other Smash attacks. Up Smash could be a Range Blaster. It shoots further into the air, but deals less damage than the Inkling’s Blaster. (Couldn’t think of anything better) Final Smash could be the Booyah Bomb. It works like Bowser’s Final Smash in which you select where it’ll be aimed at before hurling it. The Octoling will rise up and be suspended in the air from where they first were when they activated the Final Smash. New map could be the NILS Statue from the Octo Expansion, where the players fight on a platform hanging from a helicopter flying around the statue. Omega and Battlefield stages could be on the helipad on the statue’s shoulder. New songs would feature songs from the Octo Expansion, like Nasty Majesty, and also some other songs from online gameplay, such as Don’t Slip by Wet floor and Fishing Frenzy by omega-3. Skins could include the Octoling Armor that the player wears when going through the Octo Expansion, as well as combos of other clothing in the game. If you took the time to read all of this, you’re an absolute legend.

Some other suggestions to a great prompt! Music could include the Ebb and Flow part of the song to the end of the music, like Hurry Up for Moray Towers. The Booyah Bomb could instead be like Bayonetta's, by spamming a button it'll rack up more damage. We could basically include the majority of music from Splatoon 2 due to so many great tracks Entrance could be exiting from the subway train or launching out of a turnstyle. The victory jingle can be the test complete theme, and poses can include sharing their victory with Pearl and Marina, smiling like the end cutscene, or taking a selfie with their CQ-80. Those are my extra takes on it, hope they're to your liking.

When it comes to Sonic characters i'll always go for Dr. Eggman More villains for the roster and I like the idea of more playable mech fighters

Villains are my favorite kind of playable characters, like, they have everything I like: cool designs, amazing personality, original movesets, and most of them aren't too fast. For protagonists most of the time I just like them when they represent that game I loved, Mario, Kirby, Link, Ness, Olimar, etc. I love them but not in the same way I love villains. Most of the time I will choose Piranha Plant before Mario or Peach.

OMG! I hate it when people would say that Shadow would be an echo fighter! He *could* be an echo fighter yes. However, Shadow has so many more abilities than just the standard spin dash and homing attack. Without even using a chaos emerald, Shadow can use: Chaos Control (which can allow him to slow down or stop time, teleport, fly at high speeds, etc...) Chaos Spear Chaos Blast Chaos Magic etc... It's like people who say that Shadow would just be an echo fighter have not even played a Sonic game with Shadow in it. What makes this even worse is the fact that moves like spin dash and homing attack aren't even just exclusive to Sonic and Shadow. Just about every character in the series can actually use those moves despite those moves being more commonly associated with the hedgehogs. If you play the old Sega Genesis games or even some later games such as Sonic Heroes, you will see that the likes of Tails, Knuckles and many more characters can most certainly use spin dash and homing attack. Therefore, if we use the logic of people who think that Shadow would have to be an echo fighter just because he has those techniques, then just about every Sonic character (including Tails) would be an echo fighter. I don't mean to sound ranting at specifically you Mr. Video Maker. I'm just responding to everyone in general who acts like Shadow would just have to be an echo fighter.

@@hunbi1875 toad is alredy part if peaches moveset. I feel like that represents his role in the main line games pretty well. Tho if Nintendo added more dlc packs I eoudlnt midn seeing wahuligi and toad

@@COOLERthenU I don't see how being used as a meat shield in a move that already doesn't really fit peach represents what might be the most iconic fictional species in all of video games

I definitely would like to see a follow up to this once this fighter's pass is complete

Would love an update video that either recaps everything and includes new additions or just the new additions

I'd say Lyndis too. If two got in, the second would be Azura from fates. That, or a new fire emblem character from a new game. Other than that I totally agree with you on this one. Lyndis is awesome! We'd get both a samurai and some more girl power in Smash lol. I can see it now... "Prepare yourself!"

@@rylin2542 Alm is awesome man, I would give a lot to see him or Celica in Smash man.

Legend of Zelda: I'd go with Midna instead of Skull Kid, just based on my personal preferences Megaman: I feel like Zero is most likely, but Vile or Sigma would also be interesting picks with potential for unique move sets Mario: Toad just cause he's cute Pokemon: Snorlax, because if Ridley isn't too big neither is my chubby boi Xenoblade: Rex and/or Pyra/Mythra is probably a shoo-in, but I'd love to see Nia as fighter. She's a great character but also kind of an alternative to "another anime swordsman" Donkey Kong: Agree with Dixie, but how hilarious would it be to play as Cranky Kong and beat people with a cane? Metal Gear: I think it would 100% be Raiden. Splatoon: I doubt they'd use a DLC slot for an echo fighter. Maybe as a bonus they can be added as alts for inklings, but for the actual fighter I'm going to say Pearl and Marina as a duo or tag team fighter, using a mix of ink weapons and sound/music based attacks.

for DK I think he didn't give funky enough credit, we have the Kong's guns and funky's own RPB [Rocket Propelled Boot] from DK64 the jumbo/biplane barrels from dkc 1&2 and the gyrocopter from 2 as well as the boats from 3 to take inspiration from for his attacks.

Watching this in 2023 when all the dlc fighters have already been released is fun to see what he predicted would be added by Nintendo

They should add skins from their games rather than “color skins” for ex: DK as funky kong or DK wearing boxing gloves

This is already being done with some of the series, such as Mario having alt costumes for his Builder outfit from SMM and his wedding outfit from SMO.

6:52 Gen 3 Also known for the region with too much water. And (at least for me) the best Starter trio there is. No matter who they would choose from the gen 3 Starters, no matter which stage all of them are amazing :D

For Pokémon why not Deoxys, maybe his forms could be like Shulk's monado arts

Just started the match? Use speed form and start running around at light speed Got hit by 1 part of a combo? Use defense form and become a wall Need to kill at 20? Don’t use attack form, just play ganon

Honestly even though he's never showed up in any of the games technically, Waluigi could work as a WarioWare/Wario Land character, thus opening room for Captain Toad or Geno to get in... or screw them give us Paper Mario already!

For kid icarus, I think Magnus would be a good go, he would have a similar recovery move to Ike and Chrom but shorter and he could be more of the heavyweight, high damaging character
