not even. i would say 7.4. he just took characters form the same games pretty much. I mean he used toon link as a young like echo (Even though young link already is an echo, and toon link already a fighter) In fact the only ones i think was an intelligent decision was funky and Dry Bowser (And dry bowser should really just be a skin) There no game in which dixie is remotely like diddy. (Escpet for DKC2, which were still VASTLY different.) It was just very lazy, I mean he picked toon zelda and Blaziken twice.

Cubex Eh... yes and no. The design is mash between A Link to the Past and A Link Between Worlds. But really, A Link Between Worlds is just A Link to the Past 2 - in Japan, they are Triforce of the Gods and Triforce of the Gods 2, respectively. So, in a sense, it could be argued that are the same saga, so the design is from both. There are very minute differences, since one game is pixelated and the other has polygonal depth-projection 2D gameplay, but for all lore purposes, the design is identical, so we say the design is from both games.

To be fair, with the Ms. game and watch scenario, there’s no such thing as a Mr. game and watch either. He’s a smash original character, because the game and watch characters don’t actually have names. They’re just shadows of people. So a ms. Game and watch is probable.

Why are you all asking about Waluigi I said nothing about him, he is nothing like Luigi and wouldn’t make sense for an echo fighter, or a fighter at all for that matter. While they are similar, Chrom has Ike's aether (renamed as Soaring Slash), and Roy has Marth's up special, but a multihit, and has fire.

Uhhhh Galacta Knight doesn't have any similarities to Meta Knight. Their attacks in the games don't have anything in equal. While Dark Meta Knight makes a lot of sense. It's like Dark Pit and Pit. It makes sense.

With Pichu,Plusle and Minun could share a slot like Olimar and Alph,half of the styles would be for one and the other half for the other one,I feel like a good amount of these echo fighters would make sense,and could easily be put in the next Smash Game.

For Pikachu, a far more fitting echo would've been Pachirisu. Like it's not that hard to find a better one than Raichu who has a completely different body type from Pikachu. Also, a lot of these like Pokemon Trainer just couldn't get echos.

Raiden as Echo Fighter would be an insult to Raiden fans, and MGS1 and Old Snake are literally the exact same person as Solid Snake. Liquid Snake is the obvious choice, but I would go with Master Miller as the echo.

I think Metal Sonic is a better choice than Shadow, he is LITERALLY a robot clone of Sonic

Also, if red/leif gets replaced by Brendan/may, blaziken wouldn’t work for an echo. Gen 3 is awesome, but blaziken and lucario’s moves don’t sync up and incineroar is a wrestler, not a chicken that kicks other chickens for dominance. Blaziken would have to be a separate fighter (unless there’s Brendan and may)

Way to many of these deserve to get their own character slot. - Dark Knight - Shadow - Dixie Kong - Toy Link (though an Assist Trophy is best suited due to the number of links in game) - Toon Ganon (curious to see how an assist trophy of him would be like) Etc Echo Fighters that make sense: - Dry Bowser - Funky Kong - Ms Game and Watch - Dark Link (could also be an assist trophy)

I agree, he put squall as an echo to cloud when Both have different weapons (the gunblade and buster sword) whilst Zack would be better suited as Cloud and Zack have both wielded the buster sword,are from the same game and movesets would be similar
