The thing about Jiren is that he was a master of controlling his energy, and how to use it. In Super Hero (and the Manga), vegeta references this, and how Jiren was not that much stronger than him or Goku, but his control was what kept him a cut above them. Broly on the other hand has no control. I’m sure Broly is stronger than Jiren, but he won’t beat him until he learns to not attack mindlessly.

This is accurate. However, i feel it all depends on how the fight goes. If Jiren goes full power from the start, he's winning. But if the fight gets drawn out, Broly will just continue to get stronger until it's too much for Jiren to handle.

I think the scary thing about Broly vs Jiren is Broly can tank alot of damage and his power grows the longer the fight drags out, the only way to take down Broly would be to finish him with one powerful attack. Vegeta and Goku are bad match ups to Broly because they drag out their fights to test how strong they are, you need a Trunks no nonsense type to kill the enemy 😅

You are confusing DBZ Broly and DBS Broly. You don’t need to do that in order to defeat broly at LSSJ, He is durable not invincible he cant stop all the attacks from Gogeta during the fight and was actively running away the entire time. He was growing in power not obtaining more power, he was just using more of his power until he unlocked new forms but thats it.

Broly would probably stalemate Jiren if not beat him, Broly fought Goku and Vegeta prior to any transformations, worked his way up through multiple forms up to ssgss Gogeta, beat on Golden Frieza for an hour, and still laid the smackdown up until the last portion of the fight. Considering he'd never fought anyone before, and he's been training with Goku to understand his power better paired with Broly's inate adaptability, I'd give him the edge in a prolonged fight.

Broly beat on golden frieza for over an hour and he was still in his golden form. Jiren hit frieza about 5 times and frieza lost his golden form. Jiren has the same stamina as broly, better techniques, same speed if not faster, and more powerful as proven by what he was able to do to golden frieza vs broly. It showed he's way stronger than anything broly was landing on frieza. Jiren beats broly mid diff and he gives gogeta a even fight one on one.

It took a plot armor 17 that couldn't beat imperfect cell and it now without training somehow as strong as goku blue. Frieza and goku at the end and only because 17 used his barrier making jirens own attack weaken him. Goku blue with times 20 kiao kin and evolved blue vegeta couldn't even land hits on jiren. I think jiren still beats Gogeta. Another way to compare. Full power broly beat on golden frieza for over an hour and frieza was still in his golden form. Jiren made frieza revert back to his 4th form with about 6 strikes. Jiren is way stronger than people think he is. Jiren would mop the floor with broly. Jiren would probably still beat gogeta

Well in his fight with MUI Goku in the end Goku was defeated by not being able to sustain his newly acquired powers. And an update to Broly is in DBS Super Hero we learn Broly has progressed a lot but still cannot control his anger entirely. But I can understand your take being Jiren's potential and control allowing him to still clutch the win even in a prolonged fight.

Jiren was as surprised as everyone else when Goku fell down and started to scream in pain

Considering how ridicilous the fusion amp is (carthu dojo video all his statements are canon) this implies that a ssj vegito could beat jiren with ease and blue would 1 shot him so broly tanking god knows how many hits after gogeta went blue implies to me broly stomping

How do you know that carthus statements are Canon they're theories and plus base goku and vegeta are nowhere near jirens base so even when fused and ssj I don't think it's enough. I'm just saying ssj vegito can't beat jiren

​@@rohangardiner Base Gogeta was already superior to stronger versions of SSB Goku and Vegeta than the ones who Jiren fought, who were still giving him problems by the end of the tournament. SSJ Gogeta is 50x stronger than that.

Jaron has to sit down and charge for a while before he's able to actually let loose the way he does. Which means that unless he has backup broly is going to ragdoll him

Jiren effortlessly punched Frieza out of his golden form. Broly beat up golden Frieza for an hour and he was still conscious. Jiren > Broly

Jiren blocked attacks from Blue Goku and Vegeta to avoid damage. Attacks from blue Goku and Vegeta did nothing to Broly. Is we done?

Goku only needed help from Frieza because the god ki was too much for him and his body failed. If he hadn't fallen, Jiren would have been eliminated sooner.

Perhaps Broly is a little bit stronger than Jiren but with Broly not being able to control his Ki, he will be drained of energy way before Jiren would be. So I give the win to Jiren, who has mastered his ki. You have to remember Jiren wasn't trying to kill Goku or Vegeta during the Top. He held back a lot of his energy. Majority of the time he was playing with them. In my opinion, Jiren allowed Goku, Frieza, and Andriod #17 to eliminate him. Watch the scene toward the end, after Goku, Frieza and #17 hit him with their combined blast and the screen shattered. You can see Jiren was smiling. I honestly think Jiren could have won the ToP but he learned a lesson from Goku about fighting for your friends instead of solely fighting for power (strength). That's why Jiren allowed Universe 7 to beat him and he apologized to Universe 1 after being eliminated for how he treated them.

thats more of what saitama did to garou broly was growing but he wasn't growing at a constant pace infinitlely cuz then that's mean gogeta was growning faster and faster but still stayed in blue form

So why did he let Goku reach his full power? He knocked out kale out of boredom. If Jiren knew what Broly was capable of, he would take that challenge

let's talk accurately. Base Gogeta is about SSB Goku + SSBE Vegeta, which in in of itself could give Jiren minor problems, but not for SSJ Broly. Officially, Gogeta went SSB at the start of the battle due to the fact that if he went even a little less in, Broly would've adapted -which would be the case in this hypothetical battle-, and in change, destroyed earth, and many other planets.

Jiren isn't really an antagonist, he's a person who is like Vegeta, he wants to save his people his race, who was all killed off, his wish was to bring them back if he won, just another tournament member who wanted to save his home

If Broly was in the TOP, he would be disqualified for accidentally killing someone probably.😅

I think its also worth considering, Broly was going all out against Vegeta and Goku in just super saiyan blue while Jiren was whooping Goku in bluex20 and vegeta evolved effortlessly
