Nop, Luxemburg al zeker niet, en België was uiteindelijk grotendeels slechts 15 jaar bij de Nederlanden, we hebben langer bij andere rijken in de geschiedenis gezeten. Wat wil niet weglaten dat de Benelux als 1 land bij de subgrootmachten, zeker economisch (Antwerpen en Rotterdam), zou horen. Maar ook politiek zou het de positie versterken, in de eerste plaats Brussel, maar ook Den Haag en Luxemburg telt een paar instellingen. Militair zouden we ons nog steeds niet kunnen meten met de top 15, maar mss wel al in top 20 komen, zeker met de extra beloofde investeringen.

True one of the things we would stumble upon is the language and many dialects, Dutch would be the most spoken language with many dialects. The 2nd most spoken language would be French, the 3rd would be Luxemburgish, the 4th would be German and at laat the 5th would be Frisian which is spoken in the northern of the Netherlands

Considering the 3 countries level of integration in the European Union and NATO, and Belgium already having to deal with very different peoples, I feel like a BENELUX Federation would probably work far better than anyone would think.

They are also the founders of the EU. The Nato and EU headquarters are in Brussels. The international Criminal Court in Den Haag. The infrastructure is of a very high quality. The cities, which are relatively close to each other, are big enough to spend an entire weekend. Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Utrecht, Eindhoven, Antwerp, Bruges, Brussel, Gent, Liege, Luxembourg, Lille, Paris. All within 1-4 hours driving from each other. A perfect mixture of cosmopolitan cities and peaceful nature 👍🏾
