Incoming first-year medical students like myself listening to your list and frowning a bit. COVID's gonna take a lot of the fun out of it for us I expect. I was supposed to travel the summer after I got in, even. Oh well.

Hi so I’m in BSN program but my advisors and people I talk to r saying I won’t get into med school. however all the pre reqs expect for physics are in this program and I’ll be learning and working on the med field. So why is it people are being so negative towards nursing majors going into medical school then stem majors whose classes don’t revolve around workin with patients being at a hospital unless they do volunteer or clinic work?

What a levels do you need to get into med school? I know that you have to take bio and chem but do you have to take maths/ physics aswell, or can I take something completely different like history or English?

It depends on the unis you apply to, check their entry requirements

well, in my uni, we have to wear it in OSCE and in last 2 clinical years as we have to use it in many pt

I went to Birmingham for biomedical science and king's college for medicine. I'd do with experience in both and see what you enjoy most

As long as you need! The med schools you apply to may ask for what you were doing during your time out so its usually good to keep active with volunteering or medical experience

Sorry I just reread your question - after you finish medical school you have 2 years to finish you F1 year as a doctor. You need to complete F1 in that time to get full registration to the GMC in the UK. After your F1, I don't think there's a time limit to how much time off you can take
