What I think about CrossFit after doing it for 10 YEARS...

Ойын-сауық

June marks 10 years since I first walked into a CrossFit gym. I explain what I've learned about CrossFit and from CrossFit over the last decade...and why I've never stopped and I don't expect to stop any time soon.

This is great marketing for CrossFit! I love “Anyone can do it, but it’s not for everyone, everybody” Awesome content

I love it when you post! I'm here early! I've been a crossfitter for almost 10 years - high five from London! (I was old and busted - and walked into an intimidating box - and stuck with it)

Since you started at Pac Strength in The O, you look stunning. Keep it up. I’m on ~2 years CF….. I strive to be where you are. You are an inspiration. Thank you for all you do.

Awesome video as always! I like to tell people that the way I look is a “side effect” of what I do in and out of the gym, hahaha.

Love your videos! As a former coach, I loved how CrossFit has changed peoples mindset about why they work out. So many come in because they want to "look better naked" but end up staying long term as they love what their body can do. Like getting their first pull-up, muscle-up, etc.

Amanda, you explain things so well. You would excel as a media personality (excluding KZread). Oh, never mind, you are a TV personality, as you explained later in this video. I love your videos.

Amanda ❤ I’ve done CrossFit for 2 years now. Lots of things (not great) have happened in my life during this time and I truly believe that working out kept me going. I also went through this mindset shift of caring more about getting my first pull up than how I look in the mirror, and guess what? I now look better than ever and have never been fitter

I so agree with you on the physical AND mental aspects of training. I'm 67 and start my day with 25 bodyweight squats, 25 pushups, 25 sit ups, 50 360s with a steel mace. Then I have breakfast and coffee. My day begins with success. I still do my full workout with Kettlebells or Bulgarian Bag later in the day. This keeps my going, keeps me positive, and reminds me I'm still alive.

I've been doin it for over 13 years now. Personally I think CF inc. is a big joke now. I just follow Linchpin programming and do it solo now, have for years

Although I enjoy listening to you and am a fan of the open through the games, as well as believing Greg Glassman had (has) an important message, I would never walk into a CrossFit gym. The last thing I want is spending too much for someone to tell me what they think I should be doing, as a fully grown adult in my 70's. I am open, however, to learning more about health and fitness and work out every day in my small home gym.
