She left it to your interpretation. It is a loose series. She added the rest of the book years later. They sort of circle back.

Ha ha😊 I loved your little baby shared her opinions as well. So Cute! I read “ the lady and the lionheart” , and starfish bay series from Irene Hannon. I heard other people recommend “ an uncommon courtship” , I would love to start a new book series, looking forward to read those.

It’s not even remotely close to the series. It’s much more real life, in the North with the natives, and all the hardships they face up there. Not an idyllic happy little town 🤣

@@carmenjanae some thoughts on the Warsaw sisters faith in the book issue. I feel like some of the issue is the authors. They might not be saved themselves, and so they don’t know how to write a character with morals. I think that is definitely the case.

@@thewritingsongbird5108 I always struggle with rating books because I give ratings based on my enjoyment. But it could possibly be dropped a little because of content - the language as I mentioned but also one of the brothers gets drunk, the mom of the sons has had the sons with 4 different men, and just other various things that aren’t necessarily part of the story but mentioned. 🙃 so it’s a little hard. But these are all things one would expect to find in a secular book so that’s why I didn’t really drop the rating. . .

The show is actually based on another book series. The return to the Canadian west series. They just called it when calls the heart. But Elizabeth and jack’s story starts with when courage calls. The Elizabeth you’re reading about is the aunt of the Elizabeth thatcher in the show. She’s Beth in the books too not Elizabeth. I guess to avoid confusion. But yeah. If you read those, you’ll see early seasons of the show. The show does go off the rails in later seasons though. I haven’t even watched this latest one because I can’t stand Nathan!
