I'm disabled so I really appreciate these easy and accessible recipe episodes!!! Guacamole is my best friend. I eat so much of it especially on toast. Or, I make rice and do avocado hand rolls. :)

i'm so glad they're helpful for you!! guacamole is the best :)
I watched this while eating a lazy meal- frozen hashbrowns, frozen pepper/onion mix, and chickpeas with cajun seasoning thrown into the airfryer until crispy. I'd normally top with vegan cheese but was sadly out. Plus some cucumbers for more green. I love the ramen idea!
A lazy meal we do are baked potatoes with one of the following on the potato . . . vegan chili . . . or refried beans . . . or broccoli . . . or zucchini and carrots.
A wrap that I really like: a whole wheat tortilla spread with almond butter, shredded carrots and raisins. Yum!
Yes, I vote for this as a series!
TVP does a lot of heavy lifting in my household for an easy and cheap protein source. Leftover rice, TVP, Frozen veggies and some kind of sauce is my go to lunch!
Yes please! Make the series! My go to cheap lazy vegan meals are tomato and avocado sandwiches, grazing platters, rice with furikake, cold Japanese tofu, and of course ramen with veggies added.

I was literally just craving some rice with furikake. I used to make furikake from my leftover ingredients from making miso broth but it always had the benito/ fish flakes. Do u have an idea for a vegan furikake?
Great to see another inspirational video from Rose and yes making a series of videos on recipes to make that don't involve cooking and perfect for lazy days would be a good idea. Love 🥰 the video and love 💕 Rose.

My cheap, lazy meal is a big potato cooked in its skin in the microwave. Then I cut it up, sprinkle with salt, pepper and smoked paprika, drizzle with homemade tofu mayonnaise and then liberally sprinkle with nooch. Yum!
I love the laziness of these meals. Looks budget friendly too!
CONGRATS ON THE AWARD! You DEF derserve it & you're my fave vegan youtuber. my go-to lazy meals are cooking ramen noodles w canned beets, canned beets cooked w salsa, cumin, chilli powder & tofu= Mexi borscht, & frozen corn w miso, tofu & green onions. Btw, you ever make grilled sesame seed sandwiches? Back in the day, BEFORE there were all the fake meats, we used it as a BLT substitute. Just brown sesame seeds in a skillet w vegan butter, press your bread into the seeds & toast, serve w tomatoes, avocados & sprouts. it's sooo delicious, if not a lil messy w all the escaping seeds. BUT the mess is worth it!

Hey Rose from a fellow Calgarian! Due to health issues, I’ve had to change how I eat and I found your channel. It’s been a godsend! I’ve got my 81 year old mother watching your videos as well and we discuss them over the phone. Thank you for all the work you do on your videos and your Blog!

awww wow! That's amazing! Thank you so much! : )
I would love more videos like this! I have a rare genetic illness (actually 2 - 1 vascular and 1 muscular). Chronic pain and muscle fatigue leave me without a lot of energy, so quick and easy vegan meals are always appreciated; particularly if they're cheap since I don't make much on Disability. Thanks for all your awesome videos over the years, and for introducing me to my beloved gochujang (several years ago now) :D Btw. 1 of my fav easy meals: Ramen noodles (plain, vegan, from Japan, I get every couple months from Amazon), "chicken" bullion powder; pressed, diced, and marinated extra firm tofu - it makes a great "faux" chicken noodle soup that I love WAY more than I ever did traditional chicken noodle soup.
GIRL!! YOU LOOK AMAZING! Love the quick and tasty recipes as always 🥰
Very cool. I would watch a series of these if you made them.
As I have gotten older and more lazy in the kitchen I am cooking quick simple meals but still they are super healthy and fulfilling. If I am still feeling hungry between meals, I sometimes have traditional oats raw with soy milk and a drizzle of maple syrup. It is so delicious to me. Also a simple recipe is scones. Self raising flour, dried fruit ( I use sultanas and currants) and plant milk. Quickly mix and drop large tablespoon sized amounts onto a baking tray or tin and into the oven ( I use my air fryer) for 10 min on at 175 deg C. The secret is not to overwork the mixture.
Ok, why did I never know I could freeze rice?! 🤯 This new info is going to be so handy!!

haha i get it!! hahaha sounds good :)
The couscous recipe is so ridiculously easy and fast. I normally take double the time cleaning up, but this was done within 10 minutes and tastes amazing!!
I do peanut butter udon noodles with broccoli. I just cook the broccoli and the udon at the same time in the same pot and meanwhile I mix up peanut butter, a little soy sauce, a little maple syrup, toasted sesame oil, rice wine vinegar, sriracha. you can microwave it for a few seconds if it's hard to stir. I don't measure any of that. then just drain the noodles and broccoli, they only take 5 minutes to cook once the water is boiling, put them back in the pan and stir in the sauce.
I'd love a series on this👍
More cous cous recipes please!! I’m intrigued and wanna try!!
A quick lazy breakfast for my children: just eggs and hashbrowns with fruit. Lunch: ramen noodles with frozen mixed veggies seasoned with 2 not-chicken bouillon cubes.
That's so awesome about your travels!❤ and lovely quick meals!
I always keep my blended sambal with kaffir lime leaves then simply mix in peanut butter & thin w/ water for sauce or dressing. The Indonesian way would be to boil/blanch the veggies but when lazy, i just put my rice in a bowl top it with my veggies raw or nuke some frozen veggies then add that peanut concoction. Done within 10 min with 9 min for cooking rice in turbo mode in my rice cooker.
I love this video. You’ve given me hope I can learn to cook and eat foods that feel good. Please make a series!
💯 % agree about the rice! Lol I at least double or triple the amt and split into individual portions and freeze so quick to defrost and use!
Good job. Thank you for sharing. Your channel is inspiring. Keep it up!
I love this too!
This is a great video series idea and very helpful!
Love it!
MORE! these were perfect.
I just ❤ you. Thank you for making vegan cooking so easy and accessible!
Great video, repeat for sure!
I use toasted black sesame oil, and it really is remarkable the way it elevates the flavor of whatever I use it on. It literally changes the entire taste of anything in a dramatic way, but it’s always - ALWAYS - better. It’s one of those magic ingredients that most people won’t be able to identify when they taste it, but will rave about whatever it’s in. Until I bought some (only for health benefits, having no idea it would have any flavor), I didn’t know why the very simple Asian-inspired foods I made never tasted like they did in restaurants. Toasted sesame oil!!! And you don’t need much. Just half a teaspoon will do it. I add it to things like miso, ramen, salads, steamed veggies with rice, tofu, etc. So good!
Great video🥰
Thanks Rose! 💚✌️
I always make instant mash with just the kettle, no pot needed, and add corn and some soy mince. So yummy and has all you need.
Yes I would like a series. I am a new vegan and your ebook along with these easy recipes has helped me 14:08 and my daughter so much. Thank you for making these videos and i am hoping for a series.
yes girl i love it seeing all these carbaphobes out here and that just will never be me lol i love my carbs
I love that gold pot!
Mmmm Mr. Noodles, bringing me back to my fave after school snack 15 years ago. Will have to try them this way!
Love this video. Saving and going to meal plan around it next week. 😊.... my go to's are rice bowls, pasta.. last night, I had a grilled cheese, tomato, avacado.. & bean salad from Aldi.. ❤
i really felt this video🥹
Microwaved spud with tomato sauce and vegan cream cheese. For dessert, a block of silken tofu with maple syrup poured over it. Yes, more of these would be great.
Just dying my hair red right now watching this. I forgot you were red, put it in, then see this video. So excited for the results! Never had red hair!
I'm on board the frozen edamame train! It's the best
Yes, yes, yes, more of these videos, please!! And I couldn't agree more on the sesame oil. I mix it with soy sauce as well, and it's my favorite topping for veggie potstickers. My I-don't-feel-like-cooking meals include PB&J sandwiches and nachos with vegan cheese, some canned refried beans, olives, onions, salsa and hot sauce. I also love making couscous salad with chickpeas, raisins, red onions, cucumbers and a lemon/vinegar mixture (mostly red wine vinegar with a splash of lemon juice).
I am constantly in the state of mind for cooking. It is honestly why I batch cook, but then if I run out before I got around to cooking again, I usually order out. So these could help tide me over because they are actually a lot quicker than ordering food. Though one of my biggest issues is not actually having fresh vegetables on hand (lettuce, cuecumber, etc) because its fairly expensive and goes bad so quickly, unless I do a batch recipe right away, they are gone before I get through even half of it!

Heyy, thanks for your video. I always have black sesame oil because I looooove it. One of my favorites lazy recipes is miso soup. I also have some udon and soba noodles in my cellar because it's very fast to cook and I don't know if you have it in Canada but buckwheat galettes are a must have for me because you just have to fill it with whatever you want and to panfry it. If you don't have it in Canada I think you can easily find a recipe online. It's so good
Make it a series:-) plz!!!
Thanks Rose! I too love the idea of a Cheap Lazy Vegan channel Cheap Lazy Vegan meal series. Seems fitting somehow lol. In seriousness, I enjoy the ASMR quality of some other vegan KZreadrs, but realistically I will never have time to make their complicated recipes. You fill such an important hole in this space!!

Love tomato soup in noodles. That looked good so did the wrap. It all looked good. I want some Seaweed.
My cheap lazy vegan go-to meal is rice, frozen veggies microwaved, and either vegan Mayo or cheese. Always with hot sauce. I love hot sauce.
I love wraps but am so crap at wrapping the wrap 😂. Love the ideas.
More lazy meals please!
Holy crap your hair looks amazing!
Buy Veetee microwavable rice…mix in steamable bag of microwave mixed vegetables… Add soy sauce and a little siracha and you’ve got a VERY lazy fried rice 😂
Now if I lived with you, I could be vegan!! Everything looks SO good!! 😋🤤👍🏻 A bean burrito would be mine with some habanero salsa.
Have you had broccoli sprouts? Super yummy! And you can make your own pretty easily.

I like those Earth Grain pouches for a quick breakfast. 90 seconds in the microwave and 2 tablespoons of vegan ranch...so good! I'm not a fan of oatmeal so the grain packs are my go-to. Lots of flavors too.

@jinxminx55

they're not chunks, they're paper thin sheets, you can just tear them up and put them in. people eat them as a snack just as they are.
