The hi-viz vest is a thing. A couple of weeks ago, we had a major storm roll through (tornado, record softball sized hail, then heavy FOG based on a temp inversion). While rolling south on the highway to get to my son, I saw a police car wrecked in water-filled ditch. Threw on the vest, jumped into the ditch, and went to work. Trooper and ambulance rolled up and immediately went to work WITH me no questions asked because of that hi-viz vest.

Also! 3 quarts of engine oil, spare oil filter, 1 gallon of antifreeze (not the 50/50 mix) along with a gallon of water for the car. I also have JB Weld... always carry a good pair of needle nose pliers. If you have a stick, object go through your radiator, you can use then the crimp the damaged tubes and keep going. 😉 done that more than once! The spare coolent I used just yesterday! Cousin's radiator was low due to a leaking water pump!

I'm sure it depends on climate, but wasn't sure if it got to the point of not being safe to drink - obviously in a pinch its good enough. If you are ever considering a truck bed cover - please consider the Diamondback - I added one to my 2020 Tundra, and I don't see myself ever owning another truck without one. Nobody should feel nervous about using them as long as you're NOT putting them in the sidewalls. That's a big no no. Sidewalls don't have the steel reinforced belts like the traction surface. Mr. Mac, secure that compressor and tool kit with the seatbelt! You don't want to take one of those in the back of the head in the event of a crash! Cheers bro.

I got everything except for the AR and maps. Unfriendly gun state unfortunately. I'm surprised you didn't say anything about a spare flashlight for every vehicle, one for the glove box is perfect. As always, great info!

I’d highly recommend you look into Yankum Kinetic Tow Ropes, they are far superior for vehicle recovery. 🤘🏻
