I love that about “It doesn’t necessarily have to be crime or something like that… could be a building falling or whatever.”……. That is so so so on point! People watch videos all the time of random stuff like a vehicle tire that came off of a vehicle and is just rolling down the road and up onto the sidewalk at a high rate of speed and then BAM! It takes someone or something out!! But then those same people say “That sort of stuff doesn’t happen!”….. like really?!?! You just watched a video of a random runaway tire taking someone out that wasn’t paying attention whilst walking down the sidewalk!!!

For home defense firearms, I recommend a firearm you won't miss. I say that because if you do fire your weapon in self defense, even in your own home and a criminal is hit...the odds are your firearm will be confiscated as evidence. There will be an investigation by LEO and you may get your gun back...or you may not. Therefore, don't use a firearm you cherish or would miss if taken as evidence and you don't get it back. Also, choose a firearm that is "boring looking." Don't use an AR15 for home self defense because to a potential jury...AR15 s are scarier looking than say, a revolver or a shotgun or a hunting rifle. Perception is everything. There are a lot of anti 2A District Attorneys out there, even in pro gun states.

I just bought a gun safe after years of just keep my guns leaning up against my closet wall under clothes and found rust on my aims-74 rifle and ever since I I put it in the safe it showed pitting so I used wire brush and cleaned it really well I never had this issue before when my guns were in my closet, and now my AR or Glocks haven't rusted in the safe, but my aims-74 ak rifle has, and I was like oh shit, so I lathered oil inside the receiver outside the rifle, added some oil in the barrel, to keep it stored if I'm not shooting I store my guns in oil

Any reason for picking up an OA defense over a staccato or the stealth arms platypus? (besides the name 😂) it’s a great gun. And would the Taran Glock print as well at 50 as this guy?

Here’s what I don’t quite understand. Pat Mac makes fun of “range theatrics” but he as well as other SOF guys seem to do obsessive and repeated press checks and mag checks. Many, many times in a row. I get why they do it initially, but the receptiveness is wonky. Theatrical. Not criticizing them, but I truly don’t get it. Seems like just another tick.
