I'm envious; my sewing room is actually one end of a very large guest room so I always have to be mindful of hanging etc. it has a small guest room closet and also a huge walk in closet (which I use for all my storage for sewing craft stuff). It works as both areas are pretty roomy but I have to keep things neat---(sometimes anyway) since it is mainly a guest room. I keep my thread in a "shot" cabinet I got from Michaels--perfect size for smaller. spools of Embroidery thread; I was told not good to not have the the spools covered from dust, etc. in the air. I have a friend who has her thread organized all in a huge lap drawer of her cutting table.

Try a curtain tension rod for your ribbons. I use one and it works perfectly

Lol Actually, I love how you did everything. Although, I didn't see a chair or stool. Are you going to stand? I may have missed that. Anyway, great job. Now, I need to get started. I love the slap bracelets. Will be perfect for stablizer rolls. Now I just need a tiny one to keep my embroidery threads from coming unwound. Any ideas there?

IKEA!! We repurposed some of my small kitchen islands from IKEA that I already had... and added a new countertop from IKEA to make it look like one piece!

Love the slap bracelet idea. I currently use the paper towel end roll, write on it and then stick the vinyl inside it.
