What happens when you place the sub mini horizontally?

The Sonos sub mini was never designed to be placed horizontally. The Sub Gen 3 (1 and 2 as well) was able to be placed vertically or horizontally to give more placement options.
Being cylindrical, the sub mini was going to roll around if placed horizontally. Until I designed this sub mini stand. I hoped that the stand would make the sub sound better. Let's test this out and see how it sounds, horizontally.

The stand looks good, Peter. Are you planning to manufacture and sell it?
Peter, try closing the sides (encase) that will create a enclosure, will definitely give you more bass but not sure how accurate it'll be and how effective at high volumes. (place the port up/down )

Problem with sub mini is you cant use 2 of them which is problem of 1 big sub.. Since 2 mini sub would balance medium room better then 1 regular… And 2 regular are too big for medium room from footprint perspective

add a ‘no go’ zone in Roomba app
suggest white or clear acrylic material. .. meanwhile, i wonder if someone gonna steal your idea and sell it.. :/
