Mickey is a great example of how it's not just great material that makes you successful, but in voice, mannerisms and having a unique way of conveying the material. I'll do an impersonation of him and the holiday diarrhoea skit and make folk laugh. But if I were to attempt it in my own voice, own mannerisms, it wouldn't hit as hard. Still funny, because the story is hilarious, but nothing close to Mr Mickey's infectious method of speaking. He's a "crafty Cockney conman" to paraphrase Vic n Bob. Love him. Oy oy!!

We have a TV in our house, but it's connected to a games console and DVD player, we don't have an aerial. It's been like that for 20 years or more. The only time I have to suffer really watching TV is when I visit the family, that's if I can't escape with my laptop to another room.

What I like about Micky is he's all about stand up, and he doesn't give 2 shiny shites

I had 2 years off in 1990=1992. Lovely it was after 19 years of working from the day I left Grammar School in 1971. This Summer is exactly 50 years of working since I started in Central London. The only times I have ever really worked were in my first Business 1995-2017 and my second one 2013- Both indulging my Hobbies, luckily. Funny how being entirely responsible for yourself concentrates the mind wonderfully :)

Brilliant but so true, went shopping other day hate shopping, the ex use to do it, but he ended up an alcoholic so can’t have that. But walked down my pub shut down but like you say I looked through the window sensible side said if someone looks back going to scare you to death, other side bit cruel harsh but fair said what if it’s the ex, the other side said doesn’t matter he’d be so pissed he’d think you were a friend from blackout.
