Lisbon is the most beautiful city in the world, and Portugal is one of the most beautiful countries in the world. ❤️ The city of Porto is very old and romantic city. The Portuguese should be proud of the beauty of their country. They have a beautiful nature, climate, architecture, cuisine, music (fado) ... Only people without souls don't like fado. Lisbon has a soul, and its name is ‘fado’. Fado was recognised by UNESCO in 2011 as an ‘intangible cultural heritage’. Lisbon, Portugal’s capital city, is the heartbeat of the country. It’s also one of the oldest cities in the world, predating even Rome. Lisbon is a city of old souls who value tradition, art, and creativity and are putting those facets of life to use in modern ways. The Portuguese people are some of the kindest I’ve come across in my travels. They are one of the best nations in the world, they are very polite and friendly open to foreigners. People with the beautiful hearts and souls. For me, the Portuguese language is the most beautiful language. I speak several languages including Portuguese, Spanish, French, English, German, and Croatian, my native language. Languages are my passion. European Portuguese and Slavic languages have the same phonetics. In Portugal, Russian speaking people learn the language quite easily. English speaking people don't use many of the sounds used in Portuguese, so they have a bit more difficulty. European Portuguese is sexy as fuck, it's a perversion for my ears. 😊 Spanish author Miguel de Cervantes once called Portuguese "the sweet and gracious language" and Spanish playwright Lope de Vega referred to it as "sweet", while the Brazilian writer Olavo Bilac poetically described it as "a última flor do Lácio, inculta e bela" (the last flower of Latium, rustic and beautiful). Portuguese is also termed "the language of Camões", after one of the greatest literary figures in the Portuguese language, Luís Vaz de Camões. Olavo Bilac once said "a Pátria não é a raça, o meio, o conjunto dos aparelhos económicos e políticos, é o idioma herdado ou criado por um povo". Fernando Pessoa wrote in Lisbon "a minha Pátria é a Língua Portuguesa". Saudações da Croácia. 😘

@@simplygoodmood7682 Dalmatian has many words differently to Croatian. Pantarujo is a vilica e.g. Balanšane are eggplants fried in batter. You call that patlidžan. You say krumpir and we certainly do that as well, but we also tend to say patata. Dalmatian has many different words mostly derived from ancient Latin. It makes sense, because Illyria was part of the Roman Empire for a very long time. That's also the reason we have ancient food (preparation techniques) that the rest of Croatia doesn't have.

I don't know if you have watched Langfocus's video on why (European) Portuguese sounds similar to Russian/Polish (which I think we can extend to Croatian since they are all Slavic) - it might be interesting for you guys. Here is the video: kzread.info/dash/bejne/gp2flLRtZtvVkqQ.html - "Why does Portuguese sound like Russian?! (or Polish)" 14:07 - "selo" means village, but you can use "selendra" (meaning an ugly, remote, run-down village) for an extra punch, and as a last resort "vukojebina" (meaning "middle of nowhere", and it literally translates to "wolf-fuck") - Sorry, Marko. I do not mean to imply that urban is better than rural or vice versa - it's just for jokes.

Polish has been widely accepted as one of the hardest languages in the world to learn especially in terms of grammar. The same thing goes for the Croatian language. One needs to be a bit of a masochist with exceptional levels of discipline and motivation to learn Polish, Czech, Croatian or Russian. 😁 Croatian grammar is a horror story. All nouns, adjectives, and adverbs can be said in 7 different ways, and that's not even including gender and number variations. Many foreign people live in Croatia and learn Croatian, and after 10-15 years they do not speak the language fluently. In my life I met only two people who are fluent in Croatian. One man from Iraq, Rashid, who lives in Zagreb (our capital) with his family. He moved to Croatia 15 years ago when the war started in his country. The second man is married 20 years with a Croatian woman. I can not remember which nationality he is. Croatian is a phonetic language, but these words looks scary, I know 😁 : čekić, čaplja, češalj, češnjak, anđelčić, raščupati, najljući, najžući, najjači, mladošću, plješćeš, dimnjačar, grožđe, ušteđevina, liješće, lješnjak, triješće, golupčić, rupčić, đurđice, košćurina, pamćenje, gospodičić, šivaći, šišmiš, čačkalica, ljutitošću, čaša, ključ, žuć, bačvar, ljuljačka, ljiljani, grčevit, ječmeni, mačji, stječete, čišćenje, ljudožder, pješčanik, sandučić, tučnjava, ljubičica, svjedodžba, jednadžba, ljubljeni, njuška, cvrukučući... There are thousands of these words that are impossible to pronounce for foreigners. Polish, Croatian, Russian, Mandarin Chinese, Hungarian, Finnish, Arabic, Japanese and Korean are the most difficult languages in the world. Polish, Croatian, Russian, Hungarian, Finnish and Korean have the most difficult grammar of all languages.
